Time to dump my 08 tahoe and test drive one of these hopefully next week. Found some 2018s locally with low miles. I'll go check them out.

Hi there. Is there any one help me this I just have 1 mdx but when drive this car it sounds uuuuuu like from road sound or tires ( type sport tire) noise in carbin uuuuuu like this? Thanks

You did a 12 minute review and I don't know if it even has 12 way adjustable seats on passenger or driver. How is it easy to fit in a child seat? Does it have heated/cooled seats and how does the heating work? What about visibility while driving? I don't get why every car review just copies whatever they were doing in the early 2000s and just gloss over a bunch of detailed things a real "family" will want to know about? smh

Amazing review. Really appreciate you talking about the poor interface on this. The Hybrid losing the SH AWD system is an instant deal breaker. It's the one unique feature this Honda offers. Honestly this class as a whole of budget luxury 3 row vehicles are quite dated. Hard to pick a winner. The details are suppose to be what sets a luxury car appart from its mainstream counter part yet here in the MDX you have to ignore the details to like the car. That's the problem.

Do the rear seats recline on this for passenger comfort?

Rear seats slide up/back and have a recline feature. No adjustments for 3rd row seats.

I'm shocked you found the second-row space acceptable - with a rear facing seat installed your knees are against the dash and you are 5'9". That's appalling for this size category. There are many alternatives at that price point with proper space that are not a rebadged Honda Odyssey minivan.

Technically, my knees weren't right against the dash. Had about 1-2 inches of space. Maybe I didn't show it well enough... Apologies for that and I'll try better next time! Either way, I feel like for the class of vehicle, the space was right around where I thought it should be. For my family, it would have been more than enough! Hope this helps, and always appreciate the feedback! -Scott

Family Wheels So if you take the Audi Q7, for example, you can put a big rear facing seat (Graco 4Ever) behind a 6-foot driver and still have 2-3 inches between the car seat and the driver's seat. Even a Mini Countryman can fit a rear-facing seat behind a 6-foot driver. So the fact that you had to move your seat forward at all in a midsize SUV is a major failure for Acura. I test-fitted everything on the market and the Japanese cars are particularly sized for less tall drivers while the Germans accommodate taller people better.
