I truly feel that Famke Janssen didn't get a fair shake with her run as Jean. There was soo much left on the table. As a talent she is an amazing actress and although I consider The Last Stand a disappointment, she gave a great performance. She did the best with the material she had to work with and stood out in her own right even if it was for a moment. It's a shame. But that being said, It's great to see her out there supporting the franchise still.

To me she was a great Jean Grey, I wonder how Sophie will do in this film. I think Famke portrayed both the innocence of Jean and the Malice from Dark Phoenix well. I wish they asked her something more Jean related than the love interests though. I think the phoenix force might have gone to her cheeks though because the fillers look a bit oversized for her face proportions. Hopefully she only did it for the premiere because its not necessary, she was already gorgeous.

Famke Janssen will always be Jean Grey/Phoenix in my eyes. I still can’t see Sophie Turner as Jean Grey/Phoenix because she will always be Sansa Stark to me. But Famke Janssen will always always be Jean Grey. Even when she appeared as Eve on “How to Get Away With Murder”, I was like, “Jean Grey!”.

Just wanted to say that I thought she was gorgeous before and after her surgery/fillers. I think it's incredibly rude for people to be criticizing her and bashing on her decision. She's a grown woman who's allowed to make her own choices. Imagine how hurt someone must feel to read all these nasty comments like that. It's just so sad.

Cyclops was consistently wasted by the X-Men movies and it's a shame... not just because of how much of a central character he was in the comics, but also because James Marsden is a really good actor when given more to work with. It's like they too afraid of Wolverine having legitimate competition to make him a compelling character.

Does Famke remember her movies?:P Jean pretty definitively chose Scott, she always does. The last time we see Famke's Jean and technically the oldest Jean we see is in Days of Future Past and she's with Scott. I think she's confused about The Wolverine, because she was only there as a figment of Logan's imagination.

We expect so much from our actors and actresses. If they age naturally, most of the time we will hear people complaining that they haven't aged well, but if they have work done people will complain that they have had too much work done. I am sure Famke Janssen would have aged beautifully, but that's not the route she chose for herself. She still looks pretty. The only older actresses that I can think of that are on the older side that haven't had anything noticeable done are Jamie Lee Curtis and Sigourney Weaver, and they both look great. Linda Hamilton hasn't been super active in the movie industry but she looks great in the Dark Fate trailer.

I just saw her on the subway in New York yesterday. I wasn’t 100% sure it was her but after seeing this video I know it was. She still looked really good for her age but you can tell she definitely got a few things done to her face. It was too smooth and shiny and perky LOL

I love her! Did any one of you consider that people are driven to alter their looks for exactly this reason. You reduce her entire worth as a human being down to her looks. I love the Jean Grey she played. She is the first Jean Grey I will always remember. But honestly, she would look much prettier without the Botox, I barely recognized her. But, well, everyone has the right to try to make herself or himself pretty with plastic surgery, so, as long as she’s happy with it.

They were both excellent Jean Grey's it's unfortunate that they didn't get to do the Phoenix justice the way it should have been done. The writers and directors had 2 shots to get the story right and blew it both times.
