Jordan genuinely needs to flee the country. His life is in danger for the period of time that he's in Australia. The police calling out that it was most likely coordinated with a group is good, so the corruption doesn't go through the entire organization. Maybe their actions against him will be there downfall. Edit: Honestly, he needs to try and get any info he hasn't disclosed to Interpol or some other greater legal authority.

He literally exposed the local mob and when his house was firebombed they arrested one of the mob members, if that doesn't shut them down from taking further action nothing will; they have the cops and politicians in their pocket, and interpol has no field agents so guess who they'd send to deal with this? Pretty sure all he can do is drop it and move until he can veritably prove exactly who runs the mob and who is employed.

My dad told me that when he was around 12 his entire family was essentially told “if you don’t get out of the country within the next 30 mins, you’re going to be killed.” They had to leave their passports, birth certificates, and pretty much all of their belongings. They maybe grabbed some pockets of stuff and that’s it. They fled to Austria and then eventually made it to the US. My dad even told me that many years later my grandpa was still getting attempted assassinations even in the US. We’ve always been told that Australia is a ‘lucky country’ but Jordan has taken the wool from over my eyes. Thanks Jordan for serving our country for the greater good. I guess the first part of fixing a problem is knowing that it occurs.

Actually for real. One of the most appropriately toned comments here. It's sad to think there genuinely is no other way; to know likely there's no such thing as the "upper hand of justice" in this situation. Very unsettling display of reality...

I think in the past, jordies has mentioned hiding. The only reason he might not is because he has dirt on a lot of politicians so its realistically to dangerous to ask for help from the government, he probably is gonna go hiding again for a while and maybe leave the country for a bit. Hopefully

People have no idea how sad it is that a KZfaq comedian felt forced to become the gold standard for unbiased journalism in this country. He did his job so well that he helped exposed corrupt politicians and was nearly killed by criminals. If anything about him makes it seem like he isn't meant to be a hard hitting, shit stirring political investigator it's because he shouldn't be. That's how large this issue in this country is. He had no mandate to fulfill that role, his life would have been easier if he hadn't. But all the people who were supposed to do this stuff were too chicken shit or bought off to do it themselves. The police, the legal system and a good chunk of the Australian people have failed him.

As someone from Australia, recently the whole freedom of speech in the country has fallen off a cliff with Jordies getting sued/firebombed and Isaac Butterfield having to go to court for human rights violations because he made a slightly edgy joke and someone got upset as well as a plethora of other people who are critical towards both major political parties getting arrested.

A lot of people bury their heads deep in the sand, deep enough to not realize that the jokes about rich people being able to about do anything is close to reality. If you got enough money you can get your way 9/10 times and the realism of that should make us all be skeptical of them; all of them, no matter how good they pretend to be.
