THIS is why I love football, for passionate derby days like these. There was really only one team in this and that was you guys, but the tangible *passion* from both sets of supporters was incredibly heart warming. Even wounded and floored in a tier a *GIANT* like Aston Villa really doesn't belong, the diehard loyalty you have for this fallen giant was there for all to see. The place looked buzzing and packed to the brim in both ends and was even reported to be sold out. That's just incredibly touching. This derby still means so much for the fans even if neither team is in the Premier League. Congrats, Aston Villa. You deserve this victory. Now get your asses back on your feet and into the Premier League. A massive club like you shouldn't be playing your trade in the second rate division.

Man does it feel good to be a villa fan again. Grealish is fast becoming the player we know he can be. Decision to bring Jedinak back proved to be a superb one. Conor hourihane, goal of the season. Watching Alan Hutton and Terry sprint into each other's arms to celebrate our first goal was brilliant. Phenomenal, passionate, confident and controlled performance from the lads these players have bags of team spirit, commitment and are supreme pros who have a lot more quality than any other group of players we've had for 7 years and Grealish put in another class MOTM performance where he grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck again, won countless fouls and just controlled and received the ball so well and made so many good dribbles and passes. Another great thing about villa atm is that for the first time since the early 90s we actually have a starting 11 with no weak spots and good strength, depth and quality on the bench.
