I have had no time this week to put together a quality makeover video and took the decision to put this out to entertain my viewers until Wednesday this week when I will upload a new makeover video. This new makeover, will be instead of this video which was originally scheduled for Wednesday. I intend for there to be another new makeover next Saturday so as to get us back on track! I apologize to any of my subscribers that feel cheated as a result of this upload., but trust that you will understand. Marty.

The little Truck from Pavel is a Mercedes Modell 407 / 408 / 507 / 508 , the same Modell with different Engin's 72 , 82 and 90 HP 👍

The orange car from the French lady is a Monteverdi. The Swiss company was founded in 1967 and made luxury cars, closing its doors in 1984. The model depicts a Monteverdi Hai.... and the blue one is an Iso Grifo.

That green model in the first package looks like the toys that we used to get from oatmeal boxes. All oatmeal came with glasses, cups, or toys back in the 60s and 70s.

The D-type Jaguar is the racing version of the Jaguar XKSS (street legal version). The XKSS was once owned by American actor Steve McQueen. A real D-type Jaguar sold at auction for $21,780,000 and is one of the 10 most expensive cars in the world. Just fyi. Fun video Marty as always. Thanks.

Don't feel bad about not having a restoration tutorial, I understand a busy week. My hobby often suffers due to work and just being busy. I am really looking forward to the Jaguar Type D restoration. It looks very interesting and I have always been fond of Matchbox race cars. Thanks for taking the time to share these unboxing videos from so many generous and kind people from around the world. It brings back a lot of fond memories.

God I remember the scaffolding truck, it used to have a couple of yellow fence type posts in it. They were always going to get lost in the sand pit. Keep up the good work Marty

Some very nice donations Marty! The crane truck from Fabiane is a Tomica, there is also an export version with the information in English on the base, from memory it's either a Nissan or Mazda truck cab.

The train from Midgetoy reminds me of a Midgetoy fire truck I picked up at a charity shop years ago and restored it! The doors on the ambulance are hard to come by: I had one casting that was missing one of the doors and I got lucky and found another casting with that one missing the door I already had! Perfect fit!

Hey Marty, done get hung up with keeping everyone happy.... the people who really love this channel are just grateful you give your time to do what you do for us..... but importantly we enjoy it because we believe you enjoy what you are doing, I.e. the restorations and not the you tube stuff. Don’t let the you tube stuff spoil what started you ‘you tubing’. Don’t put yourself under pressure and there is no need to apologise. You are a top bloke and we are grateful and happy for whatever you share with us... I would be happy with a vid once every two weeks or even once a month rather than nothing at all. Produce it at a level that means you still enjoy it...... I will still watch whatever..... so you will always be guaranteed one view at least..... 😀😀😀👍

Good idea about the map. You have fans all over the world. Someone is bound to chime in with the answer to the mystery green car. It's a great community of knowledgeable people. I got an gold painted Matchbox sized boat trailer in a job lot, with no makers markings on it. Turned out it was the original colour, and was the trailer for a Husky (pre. Corgi Juniors) Bat Boat. So I got a Bat Boat for it, and a Husky Batmobile to tow it with - which completes the set. Needs some parts and decals, which are available, and a repaint.

I'm afraid you are right (boxing vids taking over). When Marty first started, it was all restoring. Now (in the past 3 months), it's about 50/50: 14 vids about restoring; 12 vids about unboxing. Wheres Marty going with this? The trend is obvious. I sure hope Marty doesn't turn this channel into 75 percent (or higher) unboxing and 25 percent (or lower) restoring. Hope Marty's "aware" enough to understand the importance of CORE content.

That's a Matchbox Rolamatics police Range Rover. Rolamatics cars had stuff that moved when you drove them along. I think that one had a roof light that rotated.

Yeah, we had a Rolamatics supersportcar which had a spinning "fan" and moving "exhaust". Which broke eventually.

the orange car is a Monteverdi. Monteverdi was a Swiss brand of luxury cars created in 1967 by Peter Monteverdi (1934-1998) and based in Binningen on the southern edge of Basel, Switzerland. =)

I'm glad you said that. I was thinking 'My Little Pony' when I saw it. I have a grandson who has graduated college and did a paper on My Little Pony and the social and economical impact it has on our society. On the other hand I have a very young granddaughter who just loves to collect them. Thank you for your comment.

The train at 3:44 is not a Midgetoy Pockford 😂. It is a Midgetoy but it was made in Rockford, Illinois, which is a city in Northern Illinois. Hopefully this information helps.
