From The Goonies, actors Sean Astin, Corey Feldman, Kerri Green, Ke Huy Guan, Robert Davi and Joe Pantoliano gave a reunion panel at Steel City Con December 2021 to talk about the film, entertain the audience and answer fan questions.
Sean Astin was Mikey in The Goonies, Rudy in... well, Rudy, Ed in No Good Nick, and has even voiced characters in Special Agent Oso, Teenage Mutant Ninja Video games as Raphael, Justice League Action and The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants. Of course, his role as Bob on Stranger Things is amazing and as Samwise Gamgee in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, he touched the hearts of many fans.
Corey Feldman played Mouth in The Goonies, but is also known for films such as The Lost Boys, Stand by Me, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, shows like Splatter and various voice roles in American Dad, Turbo FAST and Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!
Kerri Green was Andy in The Goonies, and has also been seen in ER, Lucas, The Magical World of Disney, Mad About You, In the Head of the Night, Murder She Wrote and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
Ke Huy Quan portrayed Data in The Goonies, and is also known for Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Nothing is Easy, Encino Man, Finding ‘Ohana and Head of the Class.
Robert Davi was the villainous Jake in The Goonies, but is also well known for Die Hard, Paper Empire, The Expendables 3, Stargate: Atlantis, Profiler, Wiseguy and Licence to Kill.
Joe Pantoliano played Francis in The Goonies, but is also known for Beethoven (TV Series), Bad Boys, EZ Streets, The Matrix, Daredevil, The Sopranos, Waterfront, Sense8 and Bad Boys for Life.

And you're point is? They were working with multiple Oscar winners throughout their careers and when they made The Goonies lol. But you're making out as if winning an Oscar is the be all end all and like its anything special. It most certainly is not in the grand scheme of things, nor or any awards shows.

Surprisingly from what I saw she didn't have a monstrously long line even though she next to never does conventions compared to Sean, Corey and Ke. Meeting her was such a joy. Also I think she was one of the first cheerleader characters on film that was neither stupid, slutty and murderous. She was just a sweet person.

The first day she was there I was surprised that she didn't have a bigger line since she next to never does cons. I was so hoping she didn't cancel as several other guys did. It was interesting though because the delta variant had just happened so people at the con suddenly started having plexiglass and masks worn again. But for the selfie she took hers off poked her head off the side of the glass and I leaned on the table covered the partition up. She was very sweet. My autograph said "Finish learning the piano!"

@@joseguerrero4214 Cool Hand Luke, Ben-Hur and Casablanca now . In 1988 when i was 8 years old it was The Goonies, Stand By Me and The Outsiders . But if I'm being honest The Goonies could push Ben-Hur or Casablanca, either one, out of the top 3 now :-) but "The Goonies" was my childhood and unfortunately I had to leave it behind .

Happy Birthday Robert Davi. UR legend. I love Halo 2. I played it since I was 9. Kool game. Same for Scarface The World Is Yours and Grand Theft Auto Vice City. Great games. Halo is my first favorite game, all of them. The Goonies is awesome and hilarious. Love it. And Predator 2 is awesome... alien movies r awesome, all Predator movies, including Prey. Its not bad. Happy Birthday Sean Astin. U were a legend, man. I seen the Goonies in Highschool, love it, but I never watched it, in the 80s. Long time. One Eyed-Willy. The Pirate. He was legend. No wonder he lost his left eye. He would've make himself a good a goonies. His dream. Its amazing. I love Balto 3 Wings of Change, Click, and Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 The Squeakquel. Awesome. I think a sequel should be a series, each character gets their own end. They can either connect or not. Or give them each a episode that would line up to a season two of them working together. Something cool.

For me, even as a kid, the struggle of the movie was about those with money and those without money. Even the Fratellis didnt have money and this is symbolized with them trying to literally make money.

what's so fun about acting in front of a green screen? i was surprised ke didn't mention everything, which had concluded filming by the time this was shot. it was an intense job for him though, so maybe that's why he didn't equate it to having fun on set

It would be so cool if they made a Goonies part two, where they all decide to meet up and discuss what happened when they were kids, and when they do it, a character reveals another clue they found as a kid and then they all decide to why not go on another adventure. It could be done really well tho and it would be a love song to the original movie. Id actually go to the movies on the release date for that movie

The time travel stuff seems so extra tho. Keep it simple. Just like reunite to discuss the adventure u guys went on. The ideas on here are all like YEAH WE WENT ON TO BE BADASSES WORKING AT CERN. it’s dividing and subtracting the believability that relates to kids just starting out in life. That’s what sold the movie in the first place. Be aware of the audience u are tapping in to? I dunno that’s all I got

Kerri Ann Green looks amazing. She is still gorgeous! I can't believe it. I think that she was born in the same year as me; 1969. She is 54 years old? (like me). She was so cute in Goonies (1985) and Lucas (1986). I always loved her. She is so hot. I hate Corey Feldman; always have. KMF

It was good to see some of the cast but the interview needed a little more structure. It seemed to be all over the place, especially with Corey talking over everyone. Everyone looks good.

Joey Pants used to own a bar in South Norwalk Connecticut just outside New York City. I was taking a piss & he came up on the urinal next to me. It threw me off my game. I said goonies don’t give each other stage fright while urinating 😆. He was a very cool guy.

After all the crappy remakes, sequels and requels (as Scream 2022 would put it), The Goonies is one that needs to be done again. Maybe Chunk was working is now a CEO of a multi-billion tech company and discovered a hidden message in a code he's working on. And he gathered back his old gang to uncover the treasure a la "National Treasure". And the Fratelli brothers and their scheming children (as replacement for their late mother) get back at it again with their no-good intentions to have their hands on that treasure.

realistic future for goonies characters... andy goes to college and forgets about brand quickly, stef goes to art school and smokes pot, brand becomes manager at the grocery store, mikey works as travel salesman and gets distracted easily and gets self insticky situations , mouth sells used cars and has many side hustles , data works for Nova the company that created johhny 5 , chunk lives in apt above his parents garage , and delivers pizza and works the bowling alley on weekends, sloth travels with the carnival and gets paid in junk food ,

I was the one that asked about the infamous Octopus scene. And when I talk to Ke about it at his table he said it was a pretty lame scene. And I was also the guy who said the Goonies was my 2nd favorite movie of all time.... I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I might have to re-evaluate my list. Wouldn't be the first.

Making a sequel about the pirate ship or One-eyed Willie is a terrible idea. Like Indiana Jones, they need to go on a new treasure hunt. I think Chunk and Sloth have become expert treasure hunters, but they go missing while on a hunt for a lost cave of gold from the gold rush era. This forces the other Goonies to have to reunite to try to save them. But the Fratellis also see the news and decide to try to get their revenge as well as the treasure for themselves.
