I did a lot of farming with a Super C. We mostly had H's with the occasional M thrown in. Farmalls run forever.

Just a heads up - never use two gaskets. You will have a leak between the two. Gaskets are different than shim stock. You should be fine because you aren't changing the dimension inside the pump area - you are just changing the thickness of the plate itself. Oil pressure should be fine - PSI is excess pressure, if you will. The amount you see is fine and I wouldn’t worry!

Chris if you used both gaskets you kind of defeated your purpose the object is to get it perfectly flat but put it together with just enough clearance that it doesn’t lock up or bind one gasket may have done the trick better ....!

If you can get 5 more pounds out of it it's worth it
