And so appropriate! We should just ask questions, not try to be ’farmer police’! There’s a difference between a suggestion and a critical comment. That was a very tactful way to say MYOB 😉❤

You have much more patience with those who feel the need to be "in your business" than I ever would. It’s my guess that the majority of them are armchair, do-gooder, zero knowledge commenters, with no farming or ranching experience. I see this on virtually every channel I watch. Love your channel and enjoy watching the daily challenges that you find ways to overcome.

I watched a guy who has a bad rat /mice issue. He mixed Jiffy corn muffin with honey mix and baking soda. As he put it. Mice and rats can’t fart or burp. So they pass away. It is safe if any other animal eats it later like a cat, hawk ,dog etc.i mixed it up and I’m trying it in our equipment.fingers crossed.

Those rat traps are meant to be wall mounted. As you've got it on it's side, you may not be getting full force from the bolt and may have just knocked the rat out instead of killing the nasty wee beast. Try going back to wall mounting the traps.

What kind of pigs are you raising Tyler? I don’t know. I’ve ever seen such muscular pigs before especially on the high end. They are very nice looking pigs. And I wish my dad was alive to see them. He really liked raising hogs although the majority of our livestock was cattle, he did favor pigs.! Pretty funny Bellie sitting comfortably underneath Callie while you guys rode in the roundabout ❣️❣️❤️ It definitely didn’t seem to bother them to ride like that but I couldn’t of tolerated it but then I’m not available. It’s amazing what good friends they have become❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️

The problems we've had with our trail cams is the delay between sensing motion and starting to record. I've had someone ride by on a 4 wheeler and it only caught the dust cloud after they passed. But our cams aren't the best in the world so, 🤷‍♂. Might see if you have a recording with nothing on it after the recording of the rat, maybe something grabbed it real quick or, like you said, maybe it jerked and bounce out of the shot. If there is, you might look real close at the start of the recording to see if there's some kind of movement right on the very edge of the screen where they were moving out of frame as the recording started.

Those cameras have a wait timer between videos. I try to keep mine between 1 and 5 seconds. The rat may have been knocked out and recovered before the camera wait period was up. I have shot rats that sizes sitting in bird nests eating hatchlings. "Rat" is a derogatory title for a reason. We enjoy your videos here in south central Tennessee.

Good video. Salt. Interesting subject. About 25years ago I spent a summer around the Amish people. I drove them around, locally and sometimes across several states. One of their conversations was being tested for mineral shortages and over supply amounts of minerals in the people themselves. They mentioned copper and some that I hadn't heard of. Aluminum usually was way over. Don't know how that happened.but it was there. They mentioned their animals, milk, even their gardens and crops. Don't know how much was fact but sounded interesting anyway. The good side of things though, they survived if we knew more on this subject we could maybe healthier I guess. I'll leave it to someone smarter than me to decide. Always enjoy your video. Good luck with your rsts. They look healthy though. Lol

3:45 Care taken is time saved. Most folks commenting have probably never had the dubious joy of trying to round up livestock. Especially when this batch of steers seem a wee bit lacking in the sense department lol. As for the trail camera, what interval is it set to between shots? The cheap ones I run usually have a minimum of 5 seconds or so before starting a new recording, which sometimes results in a video of nothing as the critter has already passed out of view. I suspect another rat was just fast enough to drag off the dead one in the gap.
