The rain has slowed to a normal pace here in the eastern part of the state. Usually from here on out we get dry and hot. As usual, the news men are telling me it's NEVER been this hot... (except for six times in the 1920s and four times in the 1950s)

This is very different to the last 4 years, and as always, farmers are blaming the weather for future shortages.
