My Erevo has been absolutely a tank on durability. I’ve smashed it flying into a mail box at about 40mph and it broke the receiver box lid, that’s it. The Erevo has been my most durable truck so far!

We went to the hobby store, I told both my daughters "get whatever you want" 🤣We walked out with a Maxx, an ERevo, and an XMaxx for myself. Glad they have the same taste as I do!

I have both of these too. Kevin is spot on with the reviews. I actually prefer the Revo over the maxx because its faster and more responsive. Definitely not as durable. Another note to mention is Kevs driving abilities here. Being able to flip with control or steering with such quick precision isn't easy.

Love the vids Kevin!! Just getting back into rc after about 15 years. Bought a EREVO and a Nitro Jato. Unfortunately there arent any outdoor tracks close to me to run the Jato so I was wondering if you have ever done a Jato Electric Conversion??? If it was electric I can run it at a local indoor track. Thanks

Stinking hot down here in Aus Kev. Yeah it's almost like the comparison between the Xmaxx and Kraton, just within the Traxxas brand. I'd go the mini Max myself, more compact therefore tougher design.

Both are awesome cars. I have the E-Revo 2.0, and I have done the same upgrades you have done, plus the Traxxas Aluminum Toe links, and the Traxxas Steel Drive Shaft, and I have two Traxxas 330 in oz servos delivering next week. Since I have done these durability upgrades, it hasn't had any issues at the BMX Track. I won't purchase a Maxx because I already have an 8S XMAXX. Nice video Kevin. Look into getting a Losi Eight T ? XE kit Kevin, and you can build it as an electric or nitro version. Mine isn't delivering until early March now. Horizon Hoby keeps pushing back the date on my order with my local Hobby Store. Fun video Kevin, Keep it up as always.

The revo 2.0 is weak at least the new version is, traxxas is too money hungry. Get the kraton and save yourself some money. My bro worked at hobby town and those were the cars he would see the most.

@@marcello2563 the erevos issues are fixed with limiting straps and aluminum rear brace -$20. Then new servo just like a kraton will want. Oh and no chassis bending like a kraton

hey kev I'm thinking of getting a bigrock 3s 2020 edition and it has nearly the same size of the kraton 4s and it really tough save the money get the bigrock 3s or spend a bit more out of the kraton 4s what you think I should do?

Hi Kevin, I was just wondering if there are any problems with cleaning my muddy rc car like this: wait for the mud to dry, clean it with a brush. I take the wheels off and wash them with water and then add WD40(lubricant) to moving parts. Then I put the wheels back on. Are there any alternative methods? I don’t think the electronics are waterproof so I can’t soak them :(

I love my E-revo 2.0! It ran into one of those electrical boxes outside of a house at around 55mph, and the only thing I broke was the control arms!

I'm debating between the revo and the maxx. I'm selling an old snowmobile of mine to a friend so I can afford to get two new rc cars since we're coming up in the holidays. The wife has a rustler and I want to get her the maxx to upgrade her if I do get the revo. Or should I get two maxxes, one for her and one for I, thoughts?

Been thinking about getting into the RC hobby, can say that I am looking at the starter stuff from Latrax since it has everything you need and the support of traxxas. Your videos are really good advertising for them and they should consider making you an official tester for the company since you can break just about anything!

See there it goes just when I'm about to say I think E-Revo may have it this run. Down goes the E-Revo even though it was just the rod end it's still something that slows you down. The revo could've been fixed easy. Just fill the stripped threads in with crazy glue, let it dry and you're good as new. Or just buy a new arm.

So he broke already broken toe links that were designed for the v1 not 2 0. Hard to count that against it
