Even his villains know. Clearly that doesn't matter. Either they already know due to time travel or hopping dimensions, or they find out after fighting him and just never attack his family, which is why he "hides" his identity

Not only is the Flash a badge with a day job, but he is perpetually late for everything, especially in the earlier seasons. Even if it wasn't on purpose at first, He probably keeps it up now to help hide his identity.

Him giving her the name FastTrack is subtle but telling. She was concerned about not being a Hero like him, but Barry by giving her that name demonstrates that he already views her as the hero she thinks she can't become. Sometimes all people really need is someone to have the faith in them that they lack in themselves.

Probably why in the early seasons any speaking was shot at an angle. I still miss the early days when they actually RAN. Just swinging their arms doesn’t have the same kinetic feel.

Is it weird that after 8 seasons of this even though this was the first time seeing this scene I knew everything that was about to happen. Knew she would beat a previous record, knew she would overdo it, knew she would ignore clear and smart warnings to stop, then get stroppy and eventually storm off. It is as if they do this over and over. It is also funny how she is upset at being "too slow" despite being a speedster for all of 5 minutes compared to Barry. Hell Mach 1.78 is comfortably over 2000 kph. That is pretty fast!

the flash was always a role model to me on how he sees life and interacts with people... but i really 😑 wish he won more battles than just the emotional ones. i can't remember more than like 2 battles he has ever won in the whole show.

Wow, the CGI has really deteriorated from what it used to be. Only Meena's arms were animated, and the speedster lightning just yucky. Not to even mention how both Meena and Barry slow down to a halt. It looks basically like a jump cut for no good reason.
