Shocking track work. Can you imagine the strain it puts on train wheels? (1:42)

I know that most G scale model trains are well-built. If you had two of these trains on that track... Each travelling at this speed... collide in a head-on impact, would the trains experience any damage?

It surprises me how poorly the tracks are laid! In a place as amazing as that!

actually the train rides quite smooth, I think the bumps and buckles of the tracks are exaggerated due to camera angle

I don't know what's more amazing, the speed of the train or the fact that it hasn't flung itself off the tracks and killed a child or a small dog yet.
@Andrecio645 жыл бұрын
they have to align the track more to reach higher speeds without danger of derailing
@WeekendsOutsideFL2 жыл бұрын
Perhaps a scenario occurs where there are TWO of these trains on this layout.... Each going this speed, and they collide head-on for a closing speed of double what you see here. Would you say that the high quality and durability of these G gauge trains would see the locomotives and cars through the crash? Or would there be some damage?
@ronhenry20257 жыл бұрын
Coming off the bridge it's doing 110 scale MPH!
@WeekendsOutsideFL2 жыл бұрын
If, perhaps, two of these trains on this track met head-on when each train is going this respective speed towards eachother, would the high durability allow the trains to escape without serious damage? Or would the locomotives get uncle vince'd?

Not to be rude or anything but I'm honestly surprised with how bumpy that track is matched with the speed the train didn't go flying off the track.

The first two cars have 5kg lead inside, each! The rest has 0,5kg lead in every car at the lowermost point. This helps a lot. At 1:50 you can see how the tracks are bending.

`Hi.. How do u calculate the speed?? If the original rolling stock is moving at 40km/hr, what shall be the speed of this scaled rolling stock for the same effect?? What is the base? Plz reply.
@LorienTheFirstOne5 жыл бұрын
We didn't calculate it, we used a radar pistol for RC-Modells (=19 km/h) and than you use the scale auf the train (in this case 1 to 29)
@itxtechnologiespvtltd64065 жыл бұрын
@@LorienTheFirstOne Dear Mr. Jaehnert, Thanks for your kind reply. The Radar pistol method is used to calculate the speed of similitude model. Let us suppose, we want to design a Rolling Stock on G scale- 1:22.5 which is designed to move at an speed of 40 km/hr on actuals. So can you please explain what shall be the design speed of the miniature model at a scale of 1:22.5 if the speed of Original rolling stock is 40km/hr. Rgds

@LorienTheFirstOne2 жыл бұрын
@rheinerftvideo26472 жыл бұрын
@LorienTheFirstOne2 жыл бұрын
