Love your vids but I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around speed rated as G. To me that means a rate of change rather than outright top speed, initially I thought you were ranking these by hardest accelerating but by end of vid looks like top speed?

I noticed that, too. But remember, "made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs"... This is all sci-fi, and everybody knows all ships travel at the speed of plot.

When you think about it, setting the Nostromo to self-destruct to kill one Xenomorph is like using a hydrogen bomb to take out a house spider. Dude, like, you can't just use a gun, a flamethrower, literally anything except for self-destructing the ship to kill it? What do you think insurance premiums are going to be like when it seems company policy is "Let's blow up our ship every time a fly gets inside one of these puppies!" Wow, really great company policy there! Love to see what happens to the company stock when the shareholder report comes out and it turns out costs went up a dime this quarter due to "catastrophic failure in aircraft due to presence of fly." Jesus, where the hell does Waylon get their staff? Explosives-R-Us? In the employee profile, are desired traits, "pyromania," "explosives-enthusiast," "exuberant hypochondriac?" How about training materials, "What to do in the event of meeting alien life: self-destruct!" I swear to god, Waylon must get government contracts otherwise, their business model does not seem sustainable.

I have 2 questions, and criticisms: 1. Where did you derive the accelerations for the ships measured in G's? Because a lot of those ships don't have defined numbers, right? 2. For the FTL speed figures, *why did you mix listing sublight drives and FTL drives?* It's sloppy as hell.

why tf are the RCS thrusters of serenity counted as propullsion? most space ships have them. they are there to steer the ship in a vacuum and not move it about under thrust. also FTL masn Faster Than Light so the cylon raider has no sublight engines then?
