I tested this product on a moderately-hazy headlight . I applied it by hand with a cheap terry cloth wash cloth and wiped with a clean part of the cloth . No taping up, no risk of swirls from a drill pad , no pad cleanup . Simple ! I got quick, great clarity . The long term protection can't be measured in my test, of course . This stuff works !

It migh be late but if someone is looks at this video, you can try changing the baking plate to a smaller one, I believe they exist down to 3 inches

Can you guys do more leather and interior videos? Also ways to keep chrome shiny and clean and how to keep your exterior clean with all of the pollen and dirt going on lately! Seems like I wash my car and the next day there’s pollen all over it and then water spots from the rain! It kills me! I’m washing my car 1-2 times a week!

Great product! I am very happy with the results I achieved. One question let's say down the road after a year what to do if headlight gets dirty and foggy again. Do we have to use the sand paper 2k and 3k again or just apply the head light restoration agai? Please advise.. Many thanks

Does it matter what size cutting pad and backing plate you use? The only one in stock is the TORQ R5

Hi Branden! Using a 3 or 4 inch backing plate and pad will be easier to maneuver around the headlight.

Hey! For heavily oxidized headlights it is necessary to sand with 2000 and 3000 grit sanding sheets.

What is the difference or where does Headlight Restorer fall with the V-line compounds and polishes (v34 v36 v38)?

HeadLight Restorer is a one step polish and it also has a sealant to it.

idk the actual answer but my guess is wet sanding with like 2500 grit and then 3500 grit, then compounding, then polishing and sealing.

@@langdonaronson7186 not a bad suggestion at all. I do almost a similar routine... I dry sand with 1500 grit, then wet sand with 3000. Then compound and so on.

Seriously. I love the products but I there is so much overlap I get so confused. I used a sanding block followed by V34 and V36 to redo my headlights.

To sell products.. they dont do it to show how something is done.. they do it to show how it is done with their products.. Personally I would like to see real world comparison between their products and other companies products..how are we suppose to know they are the best products to use if there is no comparison to what else is on the market.. But... sadly.. this will never happen 😕
