Hi from Uk as a romanian 🇬🇧🇷🇴 I gain 20 kg recent due to a medication for my depression and ptsd. I was always skinny around 50 kg, now I have almost 70 kg. My mobility have gone down, i have a big belly and I'm not happy about that, i started exercising and minde what I eat and I started to go down in kg and the feeling of doing this is very awesome. Being decipline and having a programme to do is helping me not only to lose weight but my depression as well, am not anxious around people, and i can have a conversation with a stranger just about the weather or anything else is awesome and I believe i am on the right path 😊 Love your content and directness ❤❤

Now at perimenopaus once again weight is piling up , so once again I am finding my happy balance. Man try a keto or, even better, carnivore diet. Ideally eventually combine it with intermittent fasting (eating all your food in a 6-8 hour window. Not only is it healthy, it is also easy to do. Basically no calorie counting, you just eat eggs, steak, fish until you're comfortably full. You'll feel satiated for a long time. You'll also lose weight quickly even without working out.

HI Michelle, the fact that you admit it, is the first step. My biggest weigh in at one point of my life was 165kgs, I started walking 10 mins around my block everyday in the early hours of the morning (fresher air) then I ate 3 meals a day but used a sandwich plate rather than a dinner plate, when I felt like eating during the day, in summer I would get the fruit icy poles, (you know Zoopers lol) and splits ice-cream (made from fruit), plus diced fruit in the cups. I'm not saying you should do exactly the same, I'm saying a little bit each day helps. It took me nearly 3 years to break out of the triple digits but I got there. find something you enjoy, even going swimming just walking in the pool will help. hopefully something will turn up to help you. Good luck and best wishes. 👍

@samuelthegamer8478 see, i don't like that argument. At least when people comment it on fat activism related tiktoks. Who really is that concerned about their health? I don't know them, if they drop at 39 or 87, that doesn't affect me in any meaningful way. I care that they openly lie to millions of young impressionable people. The older ones know that their back and knees scream from the pressure they put on them every day but they keep smiling to the camera and tell people how great it is to be fat, then cherry pick some comments that claim they won't live until 50 and shout about bullying and fatphobia. Then they put an oxygen mask that prevents them from dying in their sleep. So essentially, you're right, but that comment implies that we care about their individual health when we don't. We care about misinformation and division that they sow, and that's what we should call out That being said, people who just live their best lives while being fat and not spreading dangerous misinformation have a right to feel beautiful and they should never be bullied

I'm doing the exact opposite of the people in these tik toks. I realized I was getting way to big and decided to change. It's been a year now and I'm down 101 lbs and another 40-60 lbs to go. Makes me sad when I look at people like this and know they can change if they want, they just are to lazy to.

When I was younger, I looked like a body builder in school, and most of my young adult life. I'm female. Had a kid, life went on, and before I realized it, I'm now 43, weigh more than twice I ever did, and many surgeries later, 2 of which were major back surgeries, I can no longer function like I used to, and look like this woman. The difference between her and I are that I HATE the way I now looked. I've tried exercises that are low impact. Medication, diets, starving myself, abusing medication to get results. I even landed myself in the hospital a few times as a repercussion of it. I stumbled upon your channel, and the very first thing you said was eating fewer calories than you spend. I had been told basically the same thing multiple times in different ways. But they way you said it clicked. It's been 10 months since then. I've lost 33 pounds, and also discovered I can do the plank. I know it doesn't seem like a lot, but this year has been hard. I've lost my service dog, my emotional support animal, my father in law, and my mom in that time. That's also having my close friends father and brother in law passing. I know that is harder on her, but these were people I also grew up with. She said the same about my mom. So thank you for opening my eyes, and also giving me what I needed to laugh at myself.

Good on you! I'm also 41, and started doing what Isaac has so simply instructed. To eat less calories than I'm using. It's been about 2 months now, and I've lost 17 lbs. so far! I think part of the reason so many people fail is that they try to change too much all at once. As someone who stated in another post about obese people who are eating those 'burgers, a whole chicken, and that bucket of fries', maybe just say to yourself one day, I want to eat a burger, a whole chicken, but I'm going to skip that bucket of fries for awhile. Step down from there. You're absolutely right though. Don't do it for your partner, don't do it for someone else, do it for you!

I'm still slightly overweight. But I'm working on being healthy. I quit smoking in February 2020, and I've maintained a 45+ lb weight loss. It gets harder as you get older and I'm damn near 50 now. So I've made some permanent changes to ensure I don't pack on pounds during menopause. These ladies are doing themselves a massive disservice. Some of them aren't going to even survive to reach menopause if they don't change right now.

Can i make a suggestion UnderTaker294, don't wait to get a job, start now. Your energy will increase, you will present with more positivity at job interviews because of that alone. Also, once you start working, the voices inside your head come up with excuses, i'm tired, it's been a long day, it's a bit late tonight, have to cook dinner, the list goes on and on. Go out the front door and start walking, put some music in your ears if that's your thing, helps make exercise more enjoyable. Do it now, you will surprise yourself and hopefully enjoy yourself. Good luck with job hunting also
