I believe Tamla was in fact murdered. I appreciate your opinion, but in 2019 my son was clearly murdered in Forsyth County Georgia. His place was ransacked. He had more injuries than I could count. His throat had been cut by what looked like barbed wire. He had multiple stab wounds and abrasions. The Forsyth County Police ( the same group that was at Tamla Horsford's death scene was at my son Kenny Brown's, including the same county Coroner Keith M Bowen) When I requested an autopsy I was told no, that I was welcome to have an autopsy done on my own if I could afford one but I would also have to be able to hire someone to transport his body because they were not going to do it. And when I kept going back to the sheriff's office I was told the case was closed and it would not be reopened. I was also told that my son associated himself with a few bad people and when you do that bad things can happen to you. Then they labeled my son's murder a suicide, and lied on the police reports. So yes I can easily see how this could have been a murder and not a tragic accident. I believe in both cases they were murdered.

I live in Georgia near where this happened and the city that this happened in is very much a sundown town. I don't even feel comfortable driving there at night in fear that my car may break down or I will be stopped. The distrust is warranted for this area. You should research the independent autopsy. She had a dislocated spine and wrist. They also only took 5 pictures of her deceased body. And didn’t analyze the cellphones of the party goers until 2 years later, after two people changed phones and others deleted the photos that were taken that day. She also didn’t have dirt under her fingernails. “If” she fell she would have dirt under her nails as a defense wound. There’s so much more I can say. This was clearly a murder and a cover up

The 911 call by the homeowner and her "parole officer boyfriend "....the one that got fired for accessing her incident report, was very , very sketchy. They were immediately spinning a yarn of what "probably happened". It literally took 5 minutes into the call before they finally mentioned the dead woman in their yard. I'm really disappointed you didn't discuss that. You could have done an entire episode on the call alone.

I wonder why none of the women leaving gave Tamla a ride home. Being a stay at home mom is not an easy thing, let alone to 5 kids. Every day is the similar, there’s no breaks, no socializing with adults, and you have no money of your own. Tamla was probably excited and ready to let loose this night when she had no responsibilities. It’s horrible that it ended up like this. Idk what happened but it’s all very suspect. Regardless, my heart breaks for her family and her children.

In 35 years as emergency physician I have seen people falling from 45 ft. being almost uninjured and others from 6 ft.being dead. To break ones neck a force of 40 kg (100 Lb) is necessary. So the consensus seems to be that she fell off the balcony or deck, but the back door was left open all night. None of this is making sense because they did something to her. “It was the alcohol” is too easy. And why did she request to leave? She brought a bag to stay, so what spooked her? Why didn’t they help her or drive her home safely since she requested to leave?!! She was made part of that bizarre game that they were playing and someone harmed her. She also barely knew those people. Such a shame. Cautionary tail.

The homeowner actually sued Tamla’s best friend because she kept accusing them of murder. What does the homeowner expect? Her boyfriend was fired for accessing confidential files on the Tamla case even though HE WAS A WITNESS AND FOUND HER BODY AND CALLED 911. The girlfriend and homeowner was the woman that Tamla was hugging in that living room picture (if you look at the pic it’s the girl to the left of Tamla). Also not to mention that the homeowner also tried to give out freaking gift cards to the police as an attempt to bribe them.

Not sure you mentioned the potential of her being given a spiked drink even just a glass of water with the Xanax.. mixed with alcohol that can be very debilitating and I believe even potentially fatal depending on the amount of each item. If she was incapacitated by a drug she never intended to use they could have been able to easily overpower her with no injuries to themselves. The police really messed up by not collecting evidence such as drinking glasses and checking medicine cabinets and purses and all of that. If a crime had been committed, gathering evidence that night would have been crucial.

Here’s what happened: Tamla never went upstairs She smoked her cigarette outside while the other guests left after her bowl of gumbo (one last cigarette) Once the guests left barrera approached her and made advances at her. (Door left open, known as a swinger) Once denied he sexually abused her (no sex kit, no fingernail dna taken, defensive abrasions on her arms and legs) He also most likely dragged her to where he took advantage of her (no one heard anything, Tamla did have a good friend at the party, also scratches and abrasions) He the choked her and struck her with something to finish her off (blunt force trauma to the head, broken neck) Barrera made a few mistakes: He laid out what may have happened to her on the 911 call (common when covering up a story) He said he took the cigarette and lighter from the balcony (she didn’t make it upstairs) why would he touch that He moved her arm “to check her” (covers up the fact that his prints or dna may be on her) He moved her arm into a common Hollywood “look I just fell position” which is not how people land when falling Why: guilty conscious - Barrera accessed the reports which is common for people worried about something coming back to bite them in the future. Why: too much of the evidence was concealed in the beginning, which is common during a cover up Why: let’s say horsford was 5’5” that would give her 1’5” clearance over the balcony - I want you to go to your car open the window and try to fall in. It is simply not possible with a 4’ balcony wall - there was no damage to the balcony and no evidence that she was ever up there. Why: the responding officer was sending message pertaining to the case to girls he was trying to impress. He knows this is a racist town. It was almost as if he was saying look at this, look what I did. He saw it as a trophy Ultimately I think this was a crime of passion and one of a mans ego getting checked and him responding with violence

Why are they all passing out at 1:30? It’s all a lie to cover up an accidental death that was caused by one or all of them. That Xanax could be the key to this murder case. Maybe it’s an accident but they should at least tell the truth about what really happened that night. Did Tamla have to put her foot down for respect at some point? No matter WHAT I was doing throughout a night, if I saw someone dead or injured on the ground, I’d call right away. It may likely have not been a murder. Then we heard a horrible scream and a thud. She was on the ground in front of our patio, unconscious. We called 911 and stayed with her and her boyfriend until the police came. After she was taken in an ambulance, the police questioned all of the neighbors. The other neighbors all told the police that there had been a bad argument, and some were suspicious of the boyfriend. When the officer asked us about it, we told him that he had absolutely not pushed her off. Luckily for him, we had heard him getting into the shower after things quieted down and running back across the apartment when he heard the scream. She ended up surviving with no permanent damage, luckily. The other case was a friend on his honeymoon. He fell off a balcony of his hotel. He didn’t have a chance and didn’t make it. In both cases, they were very intoxicated and there was a lot of suspicion about the falls possibly being caused by someone else. They weren’t. I strongly believe that there was foul play. Her friend who is white, stated the same thing, and said that when she'd expressed that. She was threatened. And then there is the cop who got fired for illegally getting access to the files. I think that the party dynamic changed once the men came into the picture. Two possibilities. She'd got comfortable and something was said from that particular cop, possibly a racist joke, she'd didn't like it and they had words back and forth that got heated and that lead to a fight where he beat her to death. Or. He'd tried to sexually come on to her, she resisted and ended up killing her. This reeks of a cover up.

As someone who has lost their entire immediate family (father, mother, and sister) to the ravages of alcoholism either directly or indirectly, I really appreciate how you point out how alcohol can truly be the villain in a tragic or deadly situation, yet people would rather place blame on far more unlikely causes and conspiracy theories rather than believing that alcohol is to blame. G K You are so right. Alcohol is just as, and in some cases even more insidious than other types of addictions because it’s socially acceptable and so readily available. I mean we “Wine culture” as a solution for being a mom for goodness sake which just turns my stomach because I’ve seen what that can lead to and I know how many women are hiding their addiction to alcohol behind being just another mom that needs to drink because she has kids (being sarcastic there). This was my first Christmas with my whole family gone and man it was hard. Even though my sister was an alcoholic and an addict at least I had her, you know? Now I am truly on my own in the world without any of my immediate birth family left and it hurt. Especially knowing it didn’t have to be. But I am thankful that I was and am able to live a clean and sober life in spite of the way I grew up so I chose to focus on that and not the negative. I just wish people would see that alcohol is just as bad as any other addiction.

@@PriorLib74 First, I’m sorry for your loss and sorry for having to deal with all of that growing up. Second, I completely agree with you. It’s seen as normal for moms to chug the wine, but alcohol is a very bad addiction. I’ve known a few alcoholics, and they’ve fallen down many, many times and use the excuse that they just tripped over a dog or pants leg or something. They’ve gotten seriously injured, and once I even had to call 911 because of it. If you mix prescription drugs with alcohol, it’s a very deadly combination in more ways than one. As for Tamla, I believe that she had a drinking problem and took the bottle of tequila there for herself. Her husband admitted that she was a drinker and could put down a half bottle of tequila like it was nothing. That means she drank A LOT. Of course most women who do drink anything drink wine, not hard liquor, which is why they had the reaction they did. I think some people also don’t realize how strong tequila is. It’s much worse than beer or wine and a little bit can get you drunk much faster. If her blood alcohol level was almost 3 times the legal limit, then she also had smoke weed, and had Xanax, lord have mercy. Her being in a house she wasn’t familiar with would make it easy to believe that she would have fallen. I’d be surprised if someone didn’t under those circumstances.

It makes no sense of their ”phones sleeping together”? If she was so concerned why didn't she invite the victims to sleep with them upstairs? Was she using her phone for something else? The husband said his wife could handle her drink so why did she seem to drunk? Did someone maybe spike her drink? So many questions not answered. This case is very suspicious!
