All I can say is Wow. More and more I’m seeing how God uses families and also transfer mantles within. Wow. It was just last night that I had been binge watching the Chosen and saying to myself, that each episode has something that seems to speak individuality to people. The scene where Simon needed a miracle to get out of debt and all the other entanglements he was in resonated with me. I know that God has a hand on this series. I have no issues with being creative, but I’m trusting that your team is seeking God for His input to fill in those gaps the Bible has not filled. I have read the left behind series through twice and am going through it again. LOVE it. When I read through the first time, I started keeping my bible nearby because I kept going to Revelation to check out something that happened in one of the books to see it in the bible for myself.

Thanks so much for this. When I first looked at y'all visually, I didn't see many similarities... and then your eyes became as if I was seeing double. The love both of you have for each other is astounding. Captivating actually. I then heard you both speak and it was almost as if I was hearing the same person. I then listened with my eyes closed and was turned to tears at the raw emotion both of you have for each other and our Lord. The impacts both of you are making impacts and touches so many people's lives, and yes all the way from 1995. My grandfather read every book, multiple times, there was of "The Left Behind" series before his death in 2007. My mother has the whole collection and I've tried to read them, but become so emotional I couldn't. When I was in junior high, I was in an intense group of fellow church members on the study of Revolations. That was in the 80's, and the impacts of that made me a different person, my perception changed. I, until that study, assumed that every leader in our church had to be a born again Christian. We watched a short movie afterwards, and when the end of time happened, the pastor,whom had lead a large church and lead hundreds to the Lord, was left behind. I'm currently reading the "Left Behind" series. I'm on book 2 right now!! I have tried to read so many different book series because I love reading but i never find books I actually enjoy. There are many of us who get teary when Jesus and his crew are discussed. It should be normal but unfortunately it’s not. Hopefully after seeing more of the Chosen when we get to understand that we too are the Chosen that we will accept that HE loved US and died for us and we will not be Left Behind if we too accept Him as our Lord and Saviour. I started watching the Chosen last year and immediately fell in love with it. Dallas has done such a great job with show. I have found that through the show I have spent more quality time in the Scriptures and researching the history of what was happening in and around the Holy Land. And then I discovered that Dallas’s father was a writer! I am reading the Left Behind series for the first time.I started the series about 5 weeks ago and am 1/2 way through Desecration. It is so incredible! I am doing a Bible study of Revelations concurrently with the books which has given me a greater understanding of the end times. And my small group at church has been studying 1st and 2nd Thessalonians. Our study Sunday was on 2 Thessalonians 2:9 which was quoted in The Mark. I thank my Heavenly Father for giving these two men the gifts that they use so well.

Oh my gosh... I just love you guys so much!! I'm not crying you're crying! 😄😉 I was 15 years old when the first Left Behind series book came out and it was a huge part of my life growing up! When I found out that Dallas was your son, it all made sense! From the first time I heard his voice and from the first episode of the show I felt an instant connection. Like I had somehow been physically in his presence before. Turns out I had merely held and cherished the writings of one who shared his blood. It seems silly to feel like I have such a connection to you two. It feels like we have met before and that you have been a part of my life. But, I know that it is only that you have reached into my life with your work. I can't tell you what an impact you've had. Not that I would be the only one to say that. Thank you for all that you do! The Left Behind audio series is TOTALLY AWESOME! I have binged listened to it several times over and cried each time. I even listened to the kids version and had the same reaction 😁 Now to know The Chosen and Left Behind are connected - totally mind blowing for me. Personally i like to referrer to The Chosen as the preqequel to Left Behind 😁 I remember in the 90's Left Behind was all over the Christian book stores - it was everywhere & I wouldn't touch it. Fast forward 27 yrs to summer 2021 KHCB radio started playing the audio version, I was instantly hooked. Better late than never.

As a writer, I've LONG appreciate Jerry Jenkins's choice for the VERY first line in the first Left Behind novel. The first line in a book is one of the most important. It's the hook that pulls you in. And at the very beginning of Left Behind, we read: "Rayford Steele's mind was on a woman he had never touched." And just like that, our expectation of the stereotypical idea of a Christian Novel is shattered. ("What? Are we actually talking about thinking about sex?!")

I echo Jerry Jenkins- now when I read the Gospels, I picture the men and women in the Bible in 3D, people like us, with the same struggles and heartache we struggle with every day.

Dallas, from one born again Christian to another, always remember the loaves and fishes. Don't let ANY commercialism of this project sway your faith in God and God alone. I realize as other do that Satan will hit the strongest stewards for God the strongest and as I write this I have NO IDEA what you might be going through or facing. Allow His Spirit to lead you and keep the Scriptures first and foremost in the writings of each and every episode of every season. May God be with you and bring millions or yes, a billion people to Him through this work.

I just started reading Mr. Jenkins’s new set of books: Underground Zealots. I’m reading Book one, Soon: the beginning of the end. It’s very good and like the End Times series, it draws you right into the story.
