Hey my wonderful kumquats 🫶🏼 I wanted to ask your opinion on the editing of this video BECAUSE in short, there is a lot ✨less✨ of it in this vlog I have WONDERFUL editors for my sit down vids but I’ve always loved editing my own vlogs because they’re so personal. However, I just haven’t been able to keep up with the amount of time I tend to put into them. Because of this, there have been less vlogs SO for this video I’ve trialled a much lower maintenance/raw-er style which took a lot less time… Let me know your thoughts!💭💖

My best advice for medication is to get a weekly medication organizer and refill your medication on Sunday to each day for the week and it helps me so so much not forget because I’ve been guilty of that so many times.

I feel you with the heat in hospitals. I was working at the John Radcliffe in Oxford as a research scientist, and was helping some research nurses with some data sheets. Sat in their office in 35+ degrees and no AC and opening a window was as useful as a chocolate teapot, so I was dying and wondered how they coped - at least I could wear t shirt and long shorts or a very forgiving dress, not a nurses' uniform. I did wonder if they could email me the spreadsheet and I could go back to the lab with AC or even sit in the 4 degree cold room with my laptop. Unfortunately it had patient information so I had to use an NHS computer.

i don't usually comment on the videos of the youtubers I watch, but I need to say: you helped me SO much to overcome a lot of my insecurities regarding being a medical student with ADHD. Also, I honestly just think our personalities are VERY similar hahah (btw I'm also addicted to watching reality shows while doing chores lol ) - i'm sure we would be friends irl. just keep doing what you're doing and being you!! =))

@14:30 - Now I get why the consultant absolutely sh1t himself when I was in hospital. Apparently having/ reading for a PhD in the sciences also makes us utterly intimidating. I was reading for one, the daughter of the lady in the bed opposite had one, and the consultant just went "oh god. Why do I always get the clever ones?"

you can't have it both ways... moan about nightshift handing over charting of reg meds and then say how you're prioritising leaving on time. There are days that you will need to stay late. It sucks, it doesn't happen that often but it happens.
