I've worked as a tour guide for the past 16 years. Our guests are from Asian countries and have always worn masks. At first I did ask why do you wear a mask. They always said It was out of respect. They loved Americans and wanted to protect them.

If she were to get any type of respiratory illness she probably wouldn't survive. She doesn't go out much but when she does she wears a mask. She doesn't ask or expect anyone else too.
