This is still one of the best sets in all of Marvel 3. I don't care what anyone says. The hype is there, the rivalry is real, the Combofiend commentary... Both guys have something to prove. Exhibition matches will never be this good again.

that dude NEO is seriously the best commentator of all of them (i give the ultrachen credit as well). but the dude ALWAYS brings out the best in the person commentating with him and asks questions such as "what do you think both players keys to success are?" that should be asked everytime and arent. so Kudos NEO

More significant than who won, I think, is that it was demonstrated with convincingly strong results Morrigan/Doom can be stopped. Taking into account character advantage, this set was dead even.

morrigan can cancel every special move into fly/unfly. So what chris is doing is throwing a fireball, canceling it into fly, as soon as morrigan's flying, throws another fireball and then cancels that last fireball into unfly. That's 4 consecutive inputs right there.

And also champ teared up wen he lost and he said it after the tournament that it broke his heart that Chris beat him. Some people play for money but others play for the pride more than the money like champ

I think when they say it eliminates randomness, they're talking about getting hit randomly by people just throwing out attacks. When you fight Chris G, you HAVE to have a plan of attack, you HAVE to know how to get in, you can't just hit buttons and hope for the best. THAT is how he eliminates randomness.

I like how people are saying Chris g's style eliminates randomness in the game but its random at the same time. He just spams fireballs until he gets a RANDOM hit. Then capitalizes of it. His style is no different than,anybody elses. Its just more cheap and its frowned upon.

True say, he lost 15-10 to one of the best marvel players in the country while also getting 4th place at this tourney in addition to top 8 in pretty much every tournament he has been to this past year. Obviously he got lucky at evo.

It's not really spamming. He is just best at playing keep away. It takes a lot of skill and patience to play like that. And, if you still disagree, let me put it like this: Imagine that we're in a fight. I'm with a gun, and you're with a knife. So, I would be "spamming" bullets and using "zoning", because letting you get close would be stupid. Understand now?

Chris won 9 in a row because nobody is good enough to beat it. This is a rushdown heavy game, it's nice to have some change.

-_- Random hit? It eliminates randomness by ensuring you eventually get the random hit. Also, it doesn't even need to hit for the tech to work. People have blocked every fireball and still died. That is how it eliminates randomness.

I watched a lot of matches involving Chris G Morrigan team. I felt it was lame and very boring to watch. Even though it lame, i learn to understand that kind of zoning game play and incorporated into my gameplay and strategy. Try it before u hate it. It take a lot of skill to zone with morrigan. Execution has to be on point.
