FDNY Engine 10 & Ladder 10 Full House Response Earlier Today. Ladder 10 Recently Received their frontline back after having used a spare for a couple months. It now has Aluminum Rims Compared to the Stock Red Metal ones they had prior. Engine 10 Is currently Using a Spare 2002 Seagrave High-Pressure Pumper (SP02007H).

@@commiekiller As it happens the 10 House there was one of the first responders to 9/11. Its why they have a memorial right outside.

I went to the WTC in 2017. I stopped by this house afterward to get some pictures of the rigs. As soon as one of the members saw me taking pictures he closed the bay doors.

I was here back on July 29th. After visiting the 9/11 Memorial we stopped here. It was really fun being at the firehouse in person but there's also a scent going around about the bad things that happened here on the horrible day. Great response video!

Almost 3 minutes to respond. Why? Does FDNY have a guideline, requirement, even a suggestion as to how long it should take to respond? Hold your hand over a lit match and see how 3 minutes feels. Chief, any thoughts?

Depends on the call which is not listed here, we do have a requirement for response time which is 1.30. But for an average EMS call it can be 3 minutes. But it just all depends on the call, and how far away the box is.
