Yeah I phrased it in the worst way possible, I meant if we lose 1 battle then it's game over and we wouldnt be able to heal, so it's better to heal before battling

Magnus Archives is a great horror podcast! It *is* a bit of a time investment, though with 200 episodes that are each about 20 minutes. But it has a pretty fascinating over-arching plot line. ALSO they currently have 10 episodes of their new "season" out: The Magnus Protocol. Any connection to the original run is uhh vague and no one really knows how meaningful exactly they are but you could defo listen to those episodes without having listened to TMA first as it is an entirely different world and story.

Lmao i did play the randomizer for a little bit the other day in vc with someone. Got instantly killed by a night lurch that was actually gro goroth, who gnawed on my feet and then caused headache to the enlightened one, dealing 500 damage to me. Amazing experience, I think Next time i play i Will also randomize enemy troops lmao

Wow, I’m quite a big magnus archive fan and watching your randomized ragna s ending vod I just thought that Ex Altiora was just a random title coincidence and not related to said series. Without spoilering anything, Ex Altiora is apart of a series of miscellaneous magical books with special powers within each one, all of which being stamped with “from the library of Jurgen Leitner” on the inside covers. The book in question smells of ozone and looking at its high altitude landscape drawings induces a sense of vertigo. So for it to be the way you escape soft locks by “flying over them” is pretty tongue in cheeks!

Also idea for a modification to the "enemy limbs are randomized" to make it slightly more fair: Boss limbs only get randomized with other boss limbs, and enemy limbs with other enemies
