WOW! 100k.. speechless! With research, composing, editing and everything that goes into making such a video, I spent nearly one month on doing this passion project of mine. I really wanted to tell the story of the Big Three in a documentary style. Obviously there were tough choices to make, when it came to the matches I wanted to include. Here are some points to explain: - I focused on their Grand Slam battles, because otherwise there simply would have been too many matches to include and I would have had to rush through all of them - The "Fedal" storyline is not as prominently featured in this video, as I already did a piece about them earlier - I divided the video in seven phases, to give you a better oversight about the different chapters of this Trivalry 00:00 Intro 02:33 Phase 1: Fedal dominate 10:23 Phase 2: Rise of the Djoker 21:47 Phase 3: Rafas Comeback 28:37 Phase 4: The Nole Slam 33:05 Phase 5: The return of Fedal 36:19 Phase 6: The Empire strikes back 39:49 Phase 7: The final act begins 46:26 Outro

I really deep down think Djokovic is gonna end up the greatest ever but he is the kind of guy that doesn’t need any support whatsoever. Supporting Djokovic is like supporting a tournament being routine, now at the end when he is holding the trophy at the end most likely I respect the Hell out of him and really like his personality as well. There is an inevitability about Djokovic’s greatness I believe early struggles has essentially killed his ability to feel any pressure. Now when he has the most slams I just hope people do not forget how special all the Champions are because you cannot have one without the others and they each bring so much to the sport. Also as of Wimbledon 2021 I wouldn’t count out Nadal to come back and put up some more strong years if Fed did at 37 I wouldn’t count out Rafa.

As a Djokovic fan I obviously would like to see him win the most slams, but as a tennis fan I kind of want to see them all finish with the same amount of slams. It would keep the debates alive for years and would make it to where you almost always have to talk about all 3 of them when discussing the greatest player ever.
@cobra7282
@cobra7282 3 жыл бұрын
@Avinash Anand I mean debates get toxic pretty much regardless of the topic (some people just have to make it personal or get petty to try and win the argument). I just think it would be a shame if 20 years from now only 1 of the 3 really gets talked about because he separated himself from the other 2 in the debate.

If it wasn't for nadal and djokovic. Federer would've retired some years ago.
@surajk3195
@surajk3195 3 жыл бұрын
No, it's not like that. Actually, after the comeback of 2017, Federer had no expectations what will happen from that point. He only wanted to play tennis as long as possible. If he really had set his sights at world no. 1, then it was very much achievable in 2017 itself had he not skipped the entire clay court season.Even if he would have reached at least a QF at the tournaments he entered, he would have become no.1 at Shanghai Rolex Masters itself as there was not a lot difference in points between Rafa and Roger. Also, he skipped Paris Rolex Masters, last ATP 1000 to keep himself in best possible shape World Tour Finals. But, he wanted to prolong his career as a tennis player and he did the same in 2018. The main reason for this longitivtiy is his very well-planned schedule. If really Rafa and Nole want to play as long as Fed, they will have to make some tough calls and give up a few tournaments. Rafa and Nole game style is very physical. But Roger's style of tennis is purely based on hitting winners using his hand skills. I would like to say it like this If Federer would have retired let's say in 2013, then both Rafa and Nole would have retired a couple years later. Please forgive me for saying anything wrong.
@guruk
@guruk 3 жыл бұрын
Absolutely - he has tried to maintain his records and wanted to play as long as NextGen becomes strong enough to beat Rafa - Nole. But those 2 are showing the NextGen and Roger what they are worth. 2 mental giants of the sport - Warriors!!! Vamoooosssss... Idemooooooooooo!!!!

@@TheMidnight2011 tbh, that's the Roger we all love. My only worry being he mustn't overexert himself. I mean, the fact that he chose to stay is the reason we've had classics like AO17, Wimbledon 2017, Wimbledon 2019 etc. It really doesn't matter if he loses or wins in those, what matters to me is that he was part of those historical matches.

We are so truly blessed to have been able to live in the same era as Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic. They would have utterly crushed and dominated tennis had they competed without each other, but they just happened to be competing around the same time, and we the fans appreciate that. Not only that, but they are truly amazing and gentle human beings, each one with their own different trademarks and personalities. We all have our favourites but I feel that we should appreciate this amazing era since I don't know if we are ever going to witness something as special as this. This is an amazing piece of work by Rafanatic20. I kindly say, Thank You. As a Nadal fan, this is hard to watch. Nadal has had so much bad luck at the Australian Open. As we all know, he lost in the semi-final, of The French Open 2021, to Novak. That loss was excruciatingly painful to endure. Time keeps ticking. The world keeps turning. We simply move on. Nadal wouldn't be Nadal if he let that loss absorb him. To Roger, Novak and Rafael - you are all Greats of tennis. Whomever ends up with the most Grand Slam titles will be the best BUT the other two will always be mentioned in close proximity. The sun is starting to set and they will be retired but not forgotten. We have all been so lucky to be spectators during this time.

Of all the tennis videos I’ve watched on KZfaq, this is probably the best one I’ve ever seen. Didn’t fast forward once during these 50 mins. Amazing to see a «Nadal-channel» giving equal praise to all three players, and just appreciating the tennis they’ve given us. Thank you, and well done! 👏🏼

Wow, thank you so much for your great feedback., I already said that even though I am a HUGE fan of Rafa and want him to be the one with the most slams, there is no point in denying the greatness of the other two. Anyone who does that, is simply a hater and blind to greatness.

Rafanatic20 Exactly! Having bakcground from Balkan, me and my family have been following Djokovic ever since he came on the stage, and can’t really remember the last tournament we didn’t follow him. Yet, if it wasn’t for Federer and Nadal, we probably wouldn’t have followed him as much as we’ve been lucky enough to have these three play in the same era and produce so many legendary matches. No doubt that tennis have never been at a higher leven, and will drop for several years to come when they’re done unfortunately.

Rafanatic20 Hehe, well you’re one of many, if not everyone, who doesn’t like him unless you’re a Djokovic-fan😅 which makes his success and victories so much better and more impressive for him and us who follow him, when he beats his opponent in the finals, typically Federer/Nadal, as they are ones who always get to the finals and the thousands of very biased fans booing and vigourously cheering for Fedal. And yes, it’s amazing to see a channel where fans actually unite more. Makes us appreciate these three giants before they all are done very soon.

Seeing the delight on his face after all those tournament wins in 2011, especially Wimbledon, is really something.

@@SillyDillyMan1 to advocate for your favorite player is one thing, to discredit and even demean the accomplishments the other two have achieved, not to mention disregarding how Novak literally would not have gotten to the level he’s at without the rivalry that all three of them share, that is truly a sad sight. I agree that many fedal fans go against Novak unfairly and don’t give him the credit, but the right way to deal with it is not to do the same thing to the other two. Don’t forget that the other two have still achieved more than all the other players outside the 3 in the past decade

I watched tennis in the 90s and admired players like Steffi Graf, Monika Seles, Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, Boris Becker, Martina Hingis, etc. But tennis felt a hit boring and empty for a few years in the early 2000s and then came the rise of the big 3. Federer looked like he was going to be a tennis God, untouched by anyone. But Rafa came along, and then Novak, and they turned it into the most fascinating and amazing era in tennis history. It's hard to NOT pay attention to these 3. Tennis changed in 2011 and I think it changed again this year in 2021. How lucky are we to watch the 3 best players in the history of tennis all playing one another during the same era? Tennis won't be the same after they retire. The decade of the big 3, with Novak catching up over the last 10 years was amazing. What will happen the next few years now that it seems to be the domination of Novak? Great to watch.
