Dr. Goldner, we are so grateful for sharing this information. It works for us, my husband at first was hesitant because he grew up eating so much meat. Now for 5 months he drinks shake for breakfast/lunch (1 lb green/1 cup of flaxseed/ 3 bananas). He definitely sees the difference. Works outside for a living (hard labor) and he feels great!!! Thank you!!! Thank you!!!! Thank you!!!!We love you 💕 Hugs from our family❤❤❤

My goodness the not eating enough 100%!! That was my issue. That and consistency. More iron rich, calcium and protein super important in this diet plan for lots of active people.

Are sprouted lentils and chickpeas ok after doing the rapid recovery for a few months and feeling good? Of course I mean staying on the rapid recovery while adding sprouted lentils and chickpeas.

Rapid recovery is a 4 week 1 on 1 plan where you work personally with Thomas of Dr. G. Goodbye lupus protocol calls for nothing cooked. If you are sick and need rapid results follow the Goodbye lupus protocol until you’re healed. Only after you’re healed can you add back in cooked plant foods. Hope this helps!

Would love your input on this, plant based for 10 years, elevated pcos insulin resistance. Switched to carnivore and I'm healthy in 6 months. Pcos in remission, insulin is good. Fertility is back.

You can be plant-based and unhealthy and you can be carnivore and unhealthy. If you ate a high fat, highly processed pb diet, that’s not healthy. Details matter. What current science shows is animal protein contributes to inflammation, chronic disease, and death. It’s not a matter of if it’s when. You decide.

One thing I Iearned from watching docuseries is that presence of parasites makes people weak and makes them crave meat. In one of them, a doctor who is doing testing for parasites and treatment for them had one of her daughters who aways preferred a steak and had trouble being plant -based. She tested her daughter and found a parasite, and once the herbal treatment for the parasite was successful, her daughter's preferences changed and she became plant-based. So "eating more" on the protocol also makes total sense from that perspective, as the parasites literally cosume not only your most important minerals and nutrients and poisin you with their waste, but they also suck your blood, literally. And you need to eat more to compensate for that.

The reason I ask is because I would like to lower my flax down from one cup to half a cup and need some low fat, high protein, high fiber food to replace it. I cannot eat more veg than I already am. My liver enzymes were high a few months ago and I know high fat is harder on the liver. My fingers healec though.

Would REALLY APPRECIATE if someone could address this very real concern... I've had multiple kidney stones over the years. I'm convinced that this diet heals, but I'm concerned that the high oxalates will create more stones.... Has anyone received a solid answer on this?? TYIA

Also I was recently informed by my doctor that cruciferous vegetables and greens grown in California are likely grown with water contaminated by fracking. Even organic cruciferous vegetables and kale. She told me not to eat cruciferous vegetables grown in states that allow fracking and this has shown up in my bloodwork. Dr Goldner should be addressing this as well. I get organic kale from Pennsylvania which is less likely contaminated by fracking.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention the nerve damage I experienced from low B12! If one is doing a vegan diet, you need to take B12. And yes, this has been confirmed by my doctor that I have nerve damage from low B12. I started having horrific neurological symptoms after doing the rapid recovery group. I’m not saying this protocol doesn’t work for people. I believe that it does, but this needs to be emphasized more.

it is NOT ONE SIZE FITS ALL!!!!! Stop spreading this message! if someone has gut issues like myself (low stomach acid and H Pylori and SIBO) I could not complete your protocol. This needs to be acknowledged and addressed properly!!! I did your one on one I did your rapid recovery group and this protocol tore up my gut and did not heal my autoimmune condition. I wish it worked for me obviously would have loved that to have been the case.

Have you looked into dr mark hyman? He talks alot about the microbiome and the gut and how much that contributes to most disease. Might be someone you might find interesting. And you are right this diet isnt for you if you have low stomach acid sincr cruciferous veggies, leafy greens and foods high in fiber are hard to digest for your condition. I just did some quick research and just found that and wasnt sure if you were aware.
@brightgreenleaves
@brightgreenleaves Ай бұрын
@@Mrblk92 thank you for the acknowledgement! yes I’m familiar with Mark Hyman. I’m just recently sort of figuring out things to help myself like apple cider vinegar for low stomach acid and mastic gum for h pylori because I am super sensitive in general and get very intense burning pain from many of the supplements that are used to treat these conditions so it’s tricky. Also, I’m starting out with Biocidin to treat SIBO

What did Dr Goldner saywhen you were telling her about your guy issues during the protocol? Did she suggest any tweaks?
@brightgreenleaves
@brightgreenleaves 27 күн бұрын
@@marylouloya4609 she was pretty dismissive but said I could replace chia seeds with flax oil and take a probiotic. She didn’t give any other suggestions to customize things to make this protocol work for me. Replacing chia seed with flax oil did NOT work for me. Chia seeds gave me a lot of stability with my blood sugar and made me feel full it had something in it that my body really needed bc when replaced with flax oil I felt like a hot mess totally cracked out like I was starving to death, of course I told her and Thomas this but they basically made me feel like it was my fault the protocol wasn’t working for me. I had Graves which is a hyper metabolic condition, I needed whatever nutrients that were in those chia seeds to feel stable but my gut couldn’t handle the chia seeds. So back to my point… NOTHING is one size fits all. I’m sharing what happened to me bc I was in an extremely desperate situation and I was made to feel it was my fault the protocol didn’t work. That’s not true. What is true is their protocol didn’t work for me and they didn’t give me solutions that worked for me either. I ended up having to remove my thyroid which has been absolute torture trying to get my hormones right and destroyed my life. Wish they would listen and realize this protocol needs to be adjusted for ppl with gut issues. Many ppl with autoimmune conditions have gut issues!

It can be addressed properly with the right guidance, it doesn’t mean you can’t do it, it means you have issues that need to be fixed and then your body can also unlock the full benefits of a plant based diet while healing takes place.
