Fellbarrow & Low Fell From Thackthwaite, the far Western Fells

Today we were in the far West of the Lake District at a tiny hamlet called Thackthwaite. From here we were climbing two more Wainwrights, Fellbarrow and Low Fell.
It was the third day our holiday and our third day out in the hills walking. It was a warm sunny Sunday and so we were glad these weren't the biggest hills in the area.
Fellbarrow was a lovely stroll up through the fields and then the walk over to Low Fell became more varied and impressive. As we crested the summit of Low Fell we were rewarded with some stunning views down to Crummock Water.
This was quite an easy walk of around 5 miles, but the views from Low Fell were something very impressive and made it into a great walk all round.

That looked a canny walk mind and I still have both of these too do, so a good watch and man those views were stunning for such small Fells. I got told parking was a real issue there, how did you find it? Cheers Alan

@@AlanMETALMAN hi Alan, thanks for watching and for the follow. Yes parking wasn’t great, we did it on a Sunday and we struggled. Someone left just after we’d arrived so we got a spot. But I’d say there was only room for about ten cars in the area. So if you do it aim for a quiet day would be my advice, or get there very early.
