Yes we are the same, the western fells are a long way for us. We were up on holiday staying near Keswick so were trying to pick off a few of the smaller hard to reach ones. Crag Fell took me by surprise, some amazing views from there.

@@AlanMETALMAN hi Alan, thanks for watching and for the follow. Yes parking wasn’t great, we did it on a Sunday and we struggled. Someone left just after we’d arrived so we got a spot. But I’d say there was only room for about ten cars in the area. So if you do it aim for a quiet day would be my advice, or get there very early.

Thanks Alan. Helvellyn is a classic, Striding Edge is the best route up and Swirral Edge best route down. Only downside is it’s always busy, not like those nice quiet Scottish hills.

@@WhenTheMountainsCall depends where you go in Scotland and can be busy. Especially Ben Nevis. That was a nightmare last year.

We were out hiking again today. Was the best conditions I’ve ever seen in the Lake District! Am looking forward to adding that video. 😀

Thanks Simon, I've got the DJI Mini 3, the standard version not the Pro. Wish I'd spend the extra money on the Pro to be honest, the standard 3 doesn't have the obstacle avoidance and I've already had a few crashes with it haha. But yes agree, it makes a huge difference to the videos. I've only started out recently so still learning as I go, but hopefully I'll get a few more subs soon and start growing the channel. Thanks for the watch.

Thanks, yes we were very lucky with the weather. I’ve only had the drone about 3 months so still getting used to it. I did have some problems that day, it seems drones don’t like the mist. When in the mist it kept thinking it had ground below it so was always trying to land! Handy to know in the future 😀

I know! I was amazed how well the little thing did. It helped it was an onshore wind, if the wind had been blowing out to see I'd of been scared of losing it.
