@@heartofalbion_ Yeah, a lot of people are attracted to Alan Rickman but in the first movie Alan was a 55 year old man. It's obvious he was not chosen for his looks. 😖 JK Rowling wanted him as Snape more so because of his voice and acting skills she thought he would fit as Snape. (and she was right) 😉 But this has happened with the 3 main characters too like if you watch this video m.kzfaq.info/get/bejne/baiUiauI35eogIk.html at 5:55 JK Rowling literally said Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson are all too attractive to play her characters. 😂😂😂 But she still agreed to cast them as Harry, Ron, and Hermione because they fit the characters in other ways, so the casting still works. 🤭 I think casting is not just about looks it's much more about if the actor/actress can play the character well or not. 😉

@@Firespawnable Completely agree :) It doesn't do much good if the looks are 💯 perfect but they can't act the part at all. Looking at the HP franchise specifically, they got at least the most important characteristics of appearance right🙃😊 (except for things like Harry's eyes but that's because Daniel had an allergic reaction to the contacts so that's not their fault)

@@heartofalbion_ Well, Harry is supposed to have jet black messy hair so they could at least have had Daniel dye his hair (like they did with Tom Felton playing Draco Malfoy) and also make his hair messier and wild.
