I've wanted to vid fem!Sev for a while now and this was a great oppportunity and Rachel Weize makes a wonderful fancast.
In light of JKR... Well. JKR and her transphobia aren't supported on this channel. As a part of LGBTQ+ community I find it incredibly offensive to condone to transphobia.

Girl, I have been dying to see this! It's absolutely amazing. You should see my face, I was grinning like an idiot watching this, thinking how amazingly clever this is. The cast when it comes to Snape was unexpected but absolutely perfect

Thank youuuu 🧡♥️💜💙 Honestly, the fact Rachel has a perfect scene for that parallel with DH footage is a godsent. And Rachel as a whole has been on my mind as fem Sev for a while. I kind of imagine that in this scenario Severus and Lily would be friends for way longer, possibly well into Sev being a death eater.

THIIIIIIIS. ahhhhhhh. rachel as snape is the most powerful genderswap casting choice. like holy shit, does she have an Energy. this is fucking brilliant. your use of voiceovers, the aesthetic (with the clips and colouring and pacing and everything everything), THE ATMOSPHERE, how well the song fits her, the flashbacks, the forward movement, the mAgic, rose as lily!!, THE MANIPS, just everything!!!! i love everything about this. absolutely didn't feel the 2 minutes passing by. FUCKING MASTERPIECE.

This is so good??? Snape isn't my favorite character but I always found his story fascinating, and ahhh the idea of fem!Snape??? I DIDN'T KNOW I WANTED TO EXPLORE THAT CONCEPT TILL NOW. Maybe it's my bias of genderswap's coming into play. ALSO ROSE LESLIE WORKS SO WELL AS LILY???? Like it was kind of weird seeing her at first because I associate her now with Mara Jade from Star Wars Expanded Universe or Older!Wendy Corduroy from Gravity Falls but she also works as Lily? And is so unique? (Do you mind if I ask where you got her footage from? I'd never seen it before and I'm really curious if it came from The Good Fight or some of her other work?)
