This video focuses solely on the dynamic between Nadine and Dongwoo during the show. It does NOT imply that there is anything wrong with either of them. If someone doesn't like you back, that doesn't mean you have to change your personality. This video is supposed to entertain and provide insight into feminine and masculine energy. You can use what you learn however you want. 💗

I don’t think the goal is to change Nadine. Women like Nadine need to be paired with men who naturally appreciate her energy. For someone so high achieving its not an on and off button you can switch off . To be at the top of your field is to always be on

The way she carries herself when Yongwoo shows some kind of interest in her, how she avoids eye contact with him or seems distant on the first day, reminds me of how I used to behave in my 20's, when I had lots of trouble socializing with men. The way I acted made the ones who showed interest stop trying at certain point, and it took me many years and videos like yours to understand that. Please continue to review Singles inferno, it gives soo much useful information about human interactions and relationships. Love your videos 💗

@@anisasalah3399 It's helpful to understand the male mindset, how their brains work differently than women's, once you understand that you know what to look for and notice cues and intentions easily, which helps you react and behave wisely and according to your feelings and the situation. Try to educate yourself by watching lots of psychology videos like this one and exposing yourself to the interactions. Have confidence in your value as a person and be receptive to men's attention if you are interested in that person. You can learn soo much watching and analysing people's behaviour.

So many people are misunderstanding the point of this video: she’s NOT saying Nadine is masculine (like in a tomboy way), she’s saying she gives off masculine ENERGY - as in, she’s less in her ‘receiving’ energy and more in her ‘doing’ energy. No one is saying she isn’t a girly girl, cos she obviously is.

I love how you said you can do everything right and a person still might not like you. I never took it personally if a guy didn’t like me back, but so many of my girlfriends would take it so personally, convinced they were ugly or something was wrong with them. We don’t always like men back, and often their perfectly fine men, but your just not attracted to them and it’s fine. Another girl might find them super attractive even if you dont. It’s the same for women, it’s no big deal if a guy doesn’t like you back, it wasn’t meant to be.

One thing to note when the narrator mentions receptiveness/giving control -- if a man you are interested in offers to do something for you, accept. Men are happy when they are doing something for a woman they like, even if you can do it yourself. It adds a level of attraction when he feels he can provide for you in some way. You don't have to change anything to get someone except the things that are objectively bad or that lower the quality of your life as is. We don't need to be liked by thousands of men, we only need to be really liked and loved by one. You just have to find him and he you.

I completely agree that Nadine is very much in her masculine energy but this is why I thought her and Jinyoung would have been so great together. Jinyoung was very masculine presenting when he first entered but seeing his content before and after Singles inferno, he’s also very feminine. Him and Nadine complimented each other really well especially because they had the same interests in terms of hobbies. Seulki was one of the most feminine contestants and in return, Jinyoung looked really masculine next to her which I’m guessing is what he wanted. They really didn’t have much in common and had many reasons to not date. In the end, he chose who he was attracted to but not who he was compatible with.

Where or how do we draw the line between communicating and insecurity. Honestly I cringed when she started talking to him and all that stuff. I so get it. Masculine males would always want to chase. It's why Jia was so captivating in season 1. Females will have better luck if they express interest but not as straightforwardly as Nadine did. Like the video said, she would have better chances if she became more friendly to him instead. Maybe more eye contact, a smile, a banter here and there.

@@VV-zj5uw Have you seen other Korean reality shows? It's typical to see heavy manipulation in the editing part to drive a story but I doubt each of the cast members are handed scripts for the day. Your comments reek of negative energy. Did you know no one wants to be engaged much less associated with someone who attacks personal character instead of the issue being pointed out? Needless to say, OBVIOUSLY, there will always be some exceptions (welcome to planet Earth!) but it's literally imprinted in our genetics the way our brain is wired to function. Look up evolutionary psychology. Not to say this is the only component because we aren't animals with only primal instincts to drive us -- there are more complex dynamics at play including social, cultural, environmental norms that inhibit us from acting a certain way. Nadine showing insecurity -- it's been a while since I watched the show (and this video for that matter) but iirc, she approached the guy with the intention of "clearing the air" so as to let him know she's interested in him despite what she felt was her awkward indifferent disposition. However what it ultimately did was give off a nervous impression -- achingly similar to how an insecure woman would act when she's anxiously cognizant of her biological clock (again, just an example) except in the show they are given limited time and options. Yes she is courageous in terms of being upfront with him (kudos to her for stepping outside of her comfort zone) but it also displays anxiety which isn't very attractive. I also remember their dinner conversation where she revealed she prefers not to be emotionally vulnerable in relationships and one could see it turned the guy off (apologies - can't remember the name, again been a while). Being emotionally vulnerable is a key factor when it comes to making a relationship work. Saying you're open to being more vulnerable emotionally gives off the impression that you're not yet ready for a real and healthy relationship. So yes - we are social creatures with complex nuances. Asserting dominance that is obviously coming from an anxious train of thought? That is insecurity. Leaning back and letting the cards fall where they may (with a gentle nudge that you're receptive if they come your way) -- that's self confidence.

@@VV-zj5uw There's a way to disagree and communicate your points without having to be rude about it -- but I understand you could be socially inept to apply that given your lack of class in your writing. What use is your so-called education if you have an EQ of a turd. Online or not, no one wants to engage in a discussion with someone you're certain you can't have a healthy conversation with. Hope you have a good one because I know I will. :)

I understand your point of view, but it seems like some people are struggling to grasp the concept. However, I think that you embody both masculine and feminine traits. 😊 It's important to note that feminine energy is not exclusive to women and doesn't necessarily have anything to do with men. 💁‍♀ It's about how you present yourself. For instance, the Hofstede culture dimensions have a masculine vs. feminine dimension that is observed in different countries. 🌎 The USA is considered a masculine country while the Netherlands is more feminine. 🇺🇸🇳🇱 This doesn't mean that either country lacks the opposing energy, but one has more of it than the other. Overall, this topic is interesting, and if you learn more about it to gain a better understanding. 🤓

It explains it just seeing the kind of men that the west is raising in this new generation (leaning towards femenine energy in order to compensate the increasing masculinity of western women). Very interesting and informative video!! I definitely tend to lack feminine energy and are a lot more in tune with masculine energy so it was cool to learn about this. One thing that I'm really curious about is how when you say men will move mountains to be with you, whether the same things applies with men who are not as masculine or how this may differ with men with more feminine and less of that masculine/ambitious drive. I have some personal experience/interactions with a man who was not as masculine, and I was unsure at times if he didnt like me enough to go out of his way to make moves or intiatives, or if he was more cautious due to the fact that he was not a super masculine guy. Do some men act more cautious/passive rather than actively making initiatives due less ambition/masculine drive or is it just mainly because theyre not as interested?

This situation happened to me too. There was this man who was interested in me. He would approach me first almost everyday and always started the conversation. I also liked him but just kept it to small talks and smiling and saying hi to him (in my feminine energy). But then one day he didnt came, so i approached him first and indirectly told him that i like him (even though he didn't say it first). He was very happy and all, and i thought that i did a good job (stepping out of my feminine energy). But since that day that he had stopped approaching and at most just say hi from afar and go on with his day.

As a guy, I'm not intimidated by a woman who's successful or dominant that never really made sense. In truth I don't care, simply because I'm not attracted to that and you're not competition like a guy is. Same with most of my guy friends. We've all talked about this at some point because of the rise of "boss" girls and the type of dominant women in Western culture. The majority of men I interact with are far more intimidated by a woman whose feminine energy is so intense that we're not even sure that we could balance her out with our own masculinity. I think this is where men clearly show attraction in a more obvious way and that's when we feel out of our league or like a fish out of water. We begin to actually feel self conscious around women who have that femininity that we're looking for. On the other hand, being attracted to a woman with strong masculine energy is a huge waste of time, you butt heads and it feels like you're trying to slam two magnets together of the same polarity. Pretty or not, if you can't get your energies to balance each other out and compliment each other, it'll never work.

Hi, can you explain what intense feminine looks like that intimidates men? I would like to know from a man’s point of view?
@eonfluxparadox
@eonfluxparadox 11 ай бұрын
@@janewambui2065 It's hard to quantify. To most men it'll seem like an aura or energy that a woman has. But if you want the full details it has to do with mannerisms. Women who are outwardly feminine tend to walk, talk and carry themselves as such. You could even call them elegant to a certain degree. It's usually also reflected in the way they choose to dress, how they do their makeup and hair. All these things contribute to a man's perception of feminine energy and it's mostly subconscious. All of the above combined will full stop make a man doubt his ability to pull you. Once you move passed appearances and get into the personality of a woman, she's confident but not arrogant. Composed and self assured in her opinions, but doesn't push them onto others. Knows what she wants, but understands compromise. Feminine personality traits aren't outwardly strong like men's are, but have their own inner strength that feel like a balance of Yin and Yang. Hope this helps answer a few questions in some way.

Nadine is someone who has a lot on her mind, she didn't even realise what type of energy she was exuding. She is persuing a heavy career. It's already exhausting to even take the initiative to exude what energy in what situation. Here in the west, it's normal to be wary of someone who is leaning towards you on the first day and prefer to know someone at time. She was in the wrong program altogether. South Korea is not ready yet to embrace the western way of life.

Everyone has masculine and feminine energy. Usually one tops the other, taking over your actions and dress style. Nadine is in no way masculine 😂 She is more of the reserved type and she was raised in America, so the Korean convos are not as engaging to her. Ironically Dongwoo was following her around until he knew she was in a similar league. Then he lost interest. Funny that. Interestingly, Sehun, who striked me as the least problematic one was ecstatic when he figured out her career line and showed even more respect to the dedication.

Interesting video and the concept but I think you applied it to a wrong example. One of the reasons it never worked out between Nadeine and Dongwoo was the communication barrier. Nadine also said that she did not feel fully comfortable expressing herself in Korean. As a Korean-American, her comfort level with the Korean language was not at the same level as other female participants. As the whole show is about expressing themselves and making themselves more attractive to the other party, being unable to communicate freely would significantly restrain anyone (wihtout having anything to do with masucline/feminine energy).

As a guy myself, I had a feeling that I wasn’t necessarily intimidated by successful women but rather I get competitive. I like a challenge, not from one person being better than the other, but coming from a place of respect for the other person. Masculine and masculine energies clashing causes this un-attraction. I always just said “I think she would be a great friend” or “There is something that tells me I just want to be friends with her” (one of the boys, as we say HAHAAHAH). Personally, I feel intimidated when I value someone’s opinion of me, regardless of gender. This makes me seek approval from the other person, which means that I will feel smaller or like I’m not good enough(not quite sure how to describe it). Oh and when a girl is in tune with her feminine energy, I’m pretty sure that most men will feel intimidated and get nervous around them, the shift in behavior is crazy believe me. (Similar effect but different causes of intimidation) It’s crazy how well analyzed this video is and it finally made sense why I felt this way. Of course, as the video mentioned, this doesn’t mean that women with masculine energy are unattractive, but it’s about being able to balance and match each other’s energy.

This is an interesting perspective but at the end of the day, I believe that no matter how much I may be perceived as "feminine", if a guy is not attracted to me, he's not going to change his attraction because I leaned back or what have you. I clicked on this video because I liked watching singles inferno and wanted to see what people were saying about it, I’m not interested in all this behavioural analysis. I’m actually in a relationship and I haven’t been in something more “relaxed” since I was younger many years ago. My boyfriend chased me because he liked me and I didn’t have to play guessing games or not respond, we got to know each other organically with no sex involved initially. My point is when a guy really likes you, you won’t have to work hard for his attention, masculine energy or not.

Yeah and like, you’re “acting too in control” if you’re not automatically leaning back and letting someone you *just met* and don’t know if you can trust take the lead on everything. Like… as a woman… you still have to vet people and the men you’re with before you let them take the lead. Let it be known what that person is about and if their romantic intentions for you are good before you let them take/lead you anywhere. That’s justifiable, especially for a young woman with no dating experience like herself, I’d say that just makes her maybe a little awkward and it’s clunky to watch her navigate casual social interactions, but according to this person it apparently makes her masculine and insecure.
