Like the look. Half Music Man and half Fender Mustang. Headstock could be different. Maybe something like the old Heartfield design. Can't wait to get my hands on one to hear it and play it.

Finally a Paul Jackson lick in a demo video instead of some half-ass slap. Absolute props to this guy he's selling me!

I own the Dimension deluxe 4 string MIM..I am old man been playing for 40 years (still can't play) lol.through the years I've tried them all, still own my Phillip Kubicki and Yamaha BB2000. If looking for all around great bass these are really good. there are 2 negatives though,# 1- heavy #2 no passive mode. better always have two 9 volts spares because thats what they use. I think the american model double pickup may have passive mode not sure, thanks

I agree! I don't watch videos to hear specs spewed out I want to hear the things!

I'm not a fan of 5-way switches on bass, personally that's already option paralysis straight away. On guitars I think they can be useful because the sounds are very different (e.g. strats), but on basses I find the middle 3 positions to be so subtly different that I wouldn't know which to use for certain situations. Same problem with some Ibanez ATK models with the triple bucker or whatever it's called.

Let's see how full and rich this active humbucker bass sounds.......by twiddling at the 12th fret 😐

Great sound might be a cheaper alternative to music man. IMO it sounds great and I loved the headhunters lick.
@TripianaVids11 жыл бұрын
kinda like music man basses; Double humbucker with the same type of switching and a 3 band EQ... so nothing new, but it sounds very nice though!

Have to agree...prefer to hear the instrument, and in different registers. Sad portrayal of a new product.

hey it is like this bass, a StingRay 5 HH. Been there done that by somebody else, Fender. Leo Fender designed the StingRay and Fender was just content with cloning P and J's then scratching and denting them for another $4000 rather than being creative. I like Fender but they should have put the Dimension out in the late 1970's. How can I be excited about it now?

This isn't the first fender bass with a MM pickup
@dezziwood55510 жыл бұрын
Nathan Verni I am sure it wont be the last MM copy Fender does eiether. And good for Fender coming out with newer designs instead of another Pee bass and Jazz HumDrum bass-Yawn!. Gibson copied the MM as well with their attempt of breaking their sad attempts of making basses with their new StingRay clones. My opinion

Fender have finally made a Stingray; same basic set up, active pick-ups, comparable neck, similar bodyshape, heck with the V even the headstock seems straight off a 'ray. If they price 'em right, they'll steal away loads of potential Musicman buyers... that said, as dezziwood555 mentioned, it should've been out in the '70s. Now it just lacks the old school cool an old Musicman DOES have.

It deserve a better Pickguard...but sounds great!

I'm having a hard time deciding between this and Gibson's new EB bass. Both are new designs and look promising. I'm not sure how I feel about active. I think active basses are overrated. None of the classic rock players had active basses and they came up with some of the best music ever made. Jaco didn't have no active basses.

Brother give me a light weight bass with one vol and one tone knob that lays down the phatness, THAT would impress me.

The pickguard looks like it was taken from the Pedulla Rapture, same as the knob lay-out. I can't help but think Rapture parts on a P-bass body and neck. I wonder if these will hold their value?
@likelikestuff7710 жыл бұрын
im guessing because it is a fender it comes in a case
@thomasiu15911 жыл бұрын
Personally i would rather get a music man if i want that kind of pickup configuration. Feels like fender copying music man. Nth surprising
@TinyDragon5 жыл бұрын
thomas iu I have several music mans and several dimensions... I use to think it was a copy until I played one... they do not feel or sound the same - esp in person. On the surface I see why people think it is mm copy, but it is a diff animal
