spent my formative years on a Ferguson, this is only the second winch like this I have ever seen, sure wish I had one like it, Great Vid, Thanks for making it!!

Wow, I like that set up, could use. Can't get my MF back through the stream when loaded. This would help me a great deal!

Hi Simon, thanks very much, it was for sale privately down in Kent, its a handy tool to have around for sure. They do come up for sale time to time in auctions, seen quite a few in vintage tractor groups on facebook recently!

How do you find the winch are they powerful what's the heaviest you ever winched with it

Hi vintage tractors, thanks for commenting. The heaviest I have ever winched with it is probably just under 2 tonnes uphill out the wood. I find it great, it's very useful and it does pull well. It could benefit from relining the cone clutch so at the minute I use a bar over the clutch lever to improve the leverage. New clutch and I doubt I would need to do that. I have a snatch block which I use if she is struggling. Originally they had a recommended pull of 7000 to 8000 lbs. They are compact and easy to get around on the te20s. I personally think they are very good. Any more questions then please ask. Thanks.
