Yes I find exploding sodas fun ;-) but they can be dangerous if you are not aware.
I wanted to create this video to make sure that you are aware of the fact that while your soda is fermenting, there is also gas / CO2 building up in the bottle as well.
Here are the reasons for too much CO2 in the bottle:
1. The more sugar in the bottle (organic: coming from fruit or added sugar - ex: cane sugar), the faster the fermentation process is, resulting in higher amounts of CO2.
2. The higher the temperature in the room the faster the fermentation process is, so the gases built up faster.
3. Also the length of the fermentation process plays an important role here, don't let your soda sit too long.
