The 2023 Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court was exceptional this year, with a huge variety of cars on display. My Lancia Fulvia Zagato was there too and in this video my son Charlie joins me on a tour around the best cars on display this year.

Great video, the DB5 bond car is not a recreation it is one of 2 of the EON film cars with all the goodies, the other 1 was famously stolen in the USA

@@harrysgarage Yeah Harry I know that car, I found the photos and video of it before its resto, its little wonder you thought it was a fake as they painted it wrong that car was originally a bright celeclose silver, if I'm getting that type of paint right, about the same brightness in its hue as the chrome when under full light, with the dents and dings from filming still in it, and you can still find the video on here from when they did the sale its called DB5 Natural driving Footage from Motor 1 here on youtube and you can see the banged in air damn from when they ran it into the false wall as it was the stuntcar in goldfinger, tour car I think and then used as the primary in thunderball hence its worn look in that, and the grill too, like it had all the original marks still in it and it was in fine condition for what it was like I can understand recommissioning the mechanicals especially given the issues they had with them motor wise, given all that stuff added 200 pounds of weight and the like but now this means that the only DB5 in the right color, that is still known and not lost is actually Sir Sean Connery's Personal one that the stig, Ben Collins covered like if he wanted a mint DB5 he should have bought a replica and left the original alone, although atleast it still looks like a DB5 unlike the 250 GTO that Ralph Lauren owns that I saw, it was so damn shiney it looked fake when I saw it and I just walked passed it as everything about it seemed wrong only to find out its backstory, and that one I can say in the fullest confidence, he did truly ruin that one as it had a story, a unique look, a 330 racing engine under the hood, and was beaten, used and abused as it should have been left, and even raced Steve Mcqueen's XKSS at one point with the ferrari breadvan in cali now it looks like a fake 1 to 1 scale model made by CNC, all that for 80 million dollars, I liked it better when it was a 15 K beater getting used and abused at riverside

No he doesn't. He boosts his collection and investments - same as Tyrrell and the rest of the Cotswolds lot. Soon Harry and others of his class and financial standing will be the only way you will be able to see even Benidorm. Through KZfaq videos. Carbon credits, fines and imprisonment for not installing a combiboiler are coming. None of these things will affect Harry. He is not your friend.

When you're in your 20's/30's you can remember all sorts of information. When you get to be "our age" such as Harry, you don't remember as much because you've had a full life of adventures and your brain just can't contain all the new information. It sort of over-flows... You run out of new unused brain cells man! But you do keep your old memories! So take advantage while you can and make some history!

8:00 one of the earliest 200 Cobras, the "Powered by Ford" badge on the fender signifies this, meaning it still has the AC's worm-and-sector steering (later Cobras were updated) and mostly British fasteners (later Cobras were updated to use aviation-grade bolts), the early suspension (which was later updated with different arms and control rods to make the geometry better). Harry's right about them being wild. This is a so-called FIA Roadster with the 4.7L V8 and it's pretty hairy if driven right. I can't even begin to imagine what the 7L engined versions do on the road.

It’s such a collection of beautiful mechanical pieces of art on wheels. Love the timelessness of old machines. They outlive their owners and it can be that the most intimate exposure comes from those top craftsmen in whose hands these extraordinary cars are placed when restoration is chosen. Uber wealth is often accompanied by unpleasant going’s on behind the scenes, but I am grateful when a big dollop of cash is trickled through the many trades essential to maintaining & restoring these very rare and precious cars. My wife calls it “leisure time of the evils”. Probably not too far wrong. 😮
