AT10M4 thanks, it does claim you can put a damp car in there and it will dry it, I don’t feel comfortable with that but yes. There is a zip at the front that if you leave open air is pulled in through the filters and pushed out the slit, this is drying mode. Or you zip up and the air circulates internally.

@@MagicModena Low humidity is the last thing you want because it will shrink seals and its not good for leather. Best to keep humidity between 40 and 55%.

They do come up second hand from time-to-time on PistonHeads etc. Thats how I got mine.

Hi I would recommend the indoor one, it sounds like there is enough protection to go with the indoor as you can get the car in and out way more easily. The indoor has side panels so you would need space down the sides to unzip etc. Only thing I would say is it depends on your climate, the outdoor has a double layer vs single for indoor, so if weather is extreme outdoor is probably better suited, just less convenient as there is no frame and the zip goes all around the bottom and you have to roll the whole thing back. Not sure if you have seen an earlier one I did not the outdoor one just to give you an idea.

Denis Sined no humidity that I have seen - car stays dry. The air temp inside is always warmer than outside so does not create dew, so even when temp drops outside the inside will be a few degrees warmer. Car is always bone dry, brakes don’t go brown, no mildew etc

Hi again. The air always has a certain degree of humidity, expressed as a percentage. A hygrometer should be set inside. 0% humidity does not exist.

Denis Sined I did not say there was no humidity, just explained how it works and how it worked for me over three years. Humidity is not the issue though, it’s whether it hits a dew point, the air in the bubble stays warmer than the outside air thus avoiding dew forming. I wanted to keep my car dry, and mildew free and damp free, it does that. Anymore than that, I can’t help.

The right decision. I was only interested in the effectiveness of the product, I don’t want to do more damage than with a regular garage. How much higher are the cost of electricity?

Denis Sined electricity costs are negligible - I have seen reviews where people tested with one of these vs garage and out pieces of metal in each, the metal totally rusted in the garage. The garage temp will fall in line with outside as they are rarely airtight. This is also great for keeping general dust and dirt when garage door is open.

You like the jeep?

It only has a single layer vs the outdoor one which has two layers and so keeps the temp just a little more stable - this would be a greenhouse in the summer and freezing in winter but would still do the job of keeping shit off the car. Other issue is if you are anywhere there is snow, you would have to clear it in case it damaged the frame or cover, the outdoor one just collapses under its weight
