I think the indoor one is just fine. It also has the frame which is better for driving in and out. The functionality is identical re fan etc. In some of my other videos you can find the indoor one as well so you can take a look.

Whatever you do DO NOT GET ONE OF THESE USELESS TENTS if you think anything about your paintwork as you have too drag the hole thing off and drag the hole thing back on and even then takes 2 people if like me I care about my paint...as there is no frame or support in this thing....this tent WILL PISS YOU OFF BIGTIME

@@extropy1 yes that's right BUT when you have just paid thousands for a bare metal paint job this thing is useless draging on and of over the car is ridiculous and only bri gs stress ...if you have a shity car that's going to be worked on great but not for a car that's Finnished

I'm about to invest in one of these, one thing the website doesn't state is whether it comes with some sort of matt that you drive the car on rather than the actual base? I hate to think what the tyres will do when maneuvering to square up. Do you use or recommend any sort of protection that I should also budget in? One more thing - how is it against our usual UK 'storms'? I'll be away for at least 5 months tops, so I need it to withstand these sort of conditions? Thanks.

@@bio10155 Hi, so personally I went down to Halfords or B&Q and bought some mats, kind of thing you see in play centres, at the very start of video you see a couple lying to the side, I bought enough to have the wheels always resting on them. The base is pretty tough and on road I think you would be fine, but on gravel it's worth it. I think for extra security it's worth doing. I did not cover the whole floor, just around wheels, you work it out. As for storms, with the car Inside, no problem, however, I recommend putting a cover on the car because it will blow against the car and over time can slow take paintwork off. Strength wise it really took on anything. If it snows, it will flatten the bubble as an FYI, doesn't really harm anything but it can't hold up under weight of heavy snow.

@@MagicModena I think I know the one's you're referring to...they feel like foam jigsaws - and they are okay to drive and maneuver the wheels onto? Regarding the an extra layer - thanks for recommending it! I'll just get a thin 'indoor' fabric one to put on top :)

@@bio10155 yes those mats are pretty tough, they get a bit bent up but all fine, think you see them sticking out of the bottom. Totally just an indoor one, soft ideally.
