We take a ferry across the upper arrow lake and take in the incredible scenery of the Selkirk mountians. There is a gravity dam on the Columbia River in Revelstoke which we are going to see.
The Last Spike in Craigellachie B.C. is an important and historic place with a rich history. It is the location where the transcontinental railway was completed. The last spike was the final piece that unified Canada from Atlantic to Pacific.
Once we disembark from the free ferry, which is a part of the highway system, we are headed to Revelstoke BC. Revelstoke is a railway town with routes going into the big bend gold fields and beyond.
