I had chemotherapy for stage 4 osteosarcoma. (Bone cancer) beating that gave me ALL leukemia. I had a bmt developed graft vs host disease. Was on immune suppressant meds for 3 years. 5 years later I married the woman of my dreams and we want a baby. Its been a year of trying…..the amount of frustration, sadness, hopelessness I feel can’t be put into words. I’m 35. Been in under medical care for 11 years. It’s all I ever wanted after treatment is to have my own family. Wife kiddos & a dog. It looks like cancer finally won. It didn’t kill me, but took away my children.
