Some people make things to auction or donate to charity. My neighbour painted beautiful plates, chairs, anything that you could stick paint to, and she would sell them in a Christmas shoppe every year, but she would also donate some of her items to charity. Which is why I was curious if someone just donated a random plate or if it was made.. if that makes sense.@@jillosler9353

What a beautiful homage to Her Late Majesty! 💖 This is why we love Queen Camilla, for her caring and loving spirit. Queen Elizabeth cut a cake with a sabre, and when pointed out there was a knife available, she said "I know. I thought this would be more unusual." 😄 It's wonderful Queen Camilla is carrying on that same sense of fun. 💖 God Bless Queen Camilla 💖👑

I love the relative informality of the new reign. The importance of royal visits hasn't been lost but the interactions seem more relaxed. Queen Elizabeth was an amazing monarch but I can't help feeling that the new age has brought more joy to everyone there and also those watching. I wish Charles and Camilla a joyful reign.

The late Queen didn't attend local charity events although she supported many and younger working members of the Royal Family would represent her in person. That's just how it was when you have a Monarch who was crowned in the 1950s - different times, different ways. Today's Monarchy are much more hands-on and aware of how important it is to the Charity in question to be acknowledged with a friendly visit by the Queen. Note also that at these events they don't wear flashy designer clothes!

The late Queen didn't but her equerry or lady-in-waiting would have carried cash for her if needed. It's actually nice to see Queen Camilla paying instead of staff - it shows how in tune she is with charities, and that she doesn't expect things for free. It also stops the naysayers 'assuming' wrong facts!!

Yes I agree, Diana was a kind hearted, beautiful lady who should be allowed to rest in peace. Queen Camilla is of a different generation and was King Charles’ first love, circumstances and fate wrote history here and that cannot be changed, but moving forward I believe the King and Queen, together with the Prince and Princess of Wales and the rest of our Royal Family are doing a wonderful job and deserve a whole lot of credit ❤.
