I try out running it at 4KHz and doing rotate left and right instructions via the ALU.

Very nice work so far. I am following this project with interest and you have given me some tips and ideas to follow. I'm building Ben Eater's SAP-1 computer on breadboards at the moment (with a few modifications of my own) and I am keen to transfer it to PCB so that I can have it in permanent form. Good luck with the rest of the build. Please don't abandon the project!

Don't worry, I'm not abandoning it. My advice is to go straight to PCB.

I like this project very much - thanks for the videos so far. Considering how many projects I've seen though that suddenly stopped I would suggest to publish the schematics you have somewhere (like github). Even if incomplete - what you've done is valuable and can inspire others to do something similar. Any documentation - even if incomplete - is then helpful. Just my 2 cents :)

Oh don't worry I'm still working on it. I've got 3 new PCBs that I'll show you soon.

Congratulations on first execution. It's a big step forward. When are you planning on adding branching?

yay! Yes, when the next PCB arrives it will have the PC on it with the ability to store a value in the PC, and read it too, so jumping and subroutines then become possible.
