After 7 years we make our grand return to the mod that started it all for many in our community, New Threat mod! Many things have changed in this version and we will be playing the mode with the most changes and challenges, Type B Hard.

25 years ago i remember laughing and being amazed with my friends playing ff7 and just being immersed in the game, figuring things out with no help from the internet. It was such a incredible feeling and i am so glad that you bring that same energy and humour to this game that we had. Youre the man Death. Please never stop doing what youre doing. Hey, just popping in to say that I really respect your outlook on streaming/content creation. I didn't realize it until you talked about it, but you really are one of the most consistent content creators that I follow, and I genuinely appreciate that. In completely unrelated news, thanks for being respectful with the FF15 playthrough - I'm still making my way through it slowly between work trips, but for someone who was pretty vocal on their dislike of the game on previous occasion I'm impressed with how fairly you have handled the fantathon playthrough.

I don't know why, but seeing Aerith disappear into a red glow when you kill her zombie self is somehow way more horrific to me than her normal death. It feels so cold and final. Also, you should do the Aerith revive glitch you just found and bring Aerith back for this fight so she can be in the party and fight herself.

One thing this mod taught me is how many Fort Condor battles there are. I always knew there were more but never bothered to do them. I assumed it was like one or two more, not 1 every 5 flipping minutes. That is insane. Who thought that was a good idea? I guess they can be safely ignored but imagine discovering that as a kid and then feverishly checking after every story beat so you don't miss a reward? Thinking you might miss out on something crazy.

@@edplat2367 As far as I understand, these are vanilla. I would think they would have removed a bunch of these for the mod since they're fairly pointless.

2 things: 1 I really like that you keep a consistent stream of content, i dont always watch your stuff , but whern i do like one of your series I usually watch them a lot so they are really helpful in getting though the day 2 ¿Two aeris deaths in one video? that hurts

I think the relic ring is meant for this Jenova fight, all those uncures and unlife are the opposite of life and cure, which damage you as an undead. So stands to reason that uncure would heal a zombie

If the relic ring does work the same as the one in ff6 then casting death on the person equiped with it sbould function as a full-cure.

It’s not you death. It’s even the algorithms and social aspect. You watch someone who recently streamed rebirth, another channel is suggested and in their video title they spoil. Reddit remake is loaded with rebirth spoilers. It’s an industry thing, you’re the exception.

It was super early. I think train graveyard? It was on top of a train I think, a new item placement.

He did find it in the train graveyard, how ever when i was playing though it wasn't there and they notes say it's found in wutai. So the version death is playing might be a different version then what's up for download on his site.

The ps3 was a horrible console. I tried to marginally improve load times back in the day by switching the 5400 rpm hard disk to a 7200 rpm one. Too bad they didn't properly support ssd and trim commands because that would improve it a lot.
