The Behemoth fight in Monster Hunter is an amazing experience as well...getting the Dragoon (Drachen) armor which is the best in slot for a while...the actual Behemoth fight which uses the same mechanics with EM...it is amazing....you also get a Dragoon emote that you can use in the fight if you have enough skill to pull it off. I love how square and capcom reapected each othera content and gave us a challenging and fun fight for both games.

I macro mounts to each job to fit it aesthetically. So when I job change, the fitting mount is set on my hotbar. For example - /chotbar mount "Lunar Kamuy" 8 15 for my ninja. I even go extra and macro a ground mount lol, /chotbar mount "Nightmare" 8 16. Mounts and minions gotta fit aesthetically with the glam, you know! /minion "Black Hayate" for nin, inspired by Shadow's dog from FF6. With this method, I can get good use out of a lot of mounts since I use all jobs, including crafters and gatherers.

i'm not sure if i have a top ten, but mount i favor the most is the wyvern! really a great time earning the seals to get it, mostly by myself due to working hours. it's design and sound and motion and the way my miqo sits stands out for me. i do feel a little cheated though after not getting the roar action like the moogle wyvern daily beast quests, but still love it most! the direwolf i use mostly in ARR zones, reminds me of Bardi from 1.0! looks really fast with the map speeds. the drake looks awesome in flight and little feet running, and the white griffin from the ananta, though wish there would be a dye option so i can have a majestic vochstein! would also love to hear more top or favorites, zones, orchestrions, bosses, dungeons, etc.

My favourite thing about the magitek predator mount you've showcased is that it's the design of the original magitek armours from FF6. It hits all my nostalgia buttons. I'd have to say my favourite mount in this game currently is my Kamuy of the Nine Tails. So pretty. I also really love Raigo too and the namazu mount always has a special place in my heart.

I'm going to suggest the top optional side quest series. I know a few people who just blast through the MSQ and skip all the optional stuff, but honestly some of it is truly great.

I’d love to see your ten favourite glamour items! As for my favorite mount, I think it has to be the True Griffin from the Ananta Beast Tribe vendor. It’s a nice and simple design. Who wouldn’t want to fly around the world on a pristine white bird-lion? I also really like the armor the Battle Lion wears. Paladin is my favorite job, so I’m totally prepared to do the work to get the Lion one day.

My favorites are actually pretty easy to get bar 1 (top 5) #5 (for 4 player taxi cab services and great fun, the only mount hard to get on my list) The shoe. The Skyslipper is from e4s and it's derpy design always gets a giggle from my map parties as I request players "Get in my shoe" #4 (for idling in mountable locations) any of the chairs, notably Achone throne from Golden Saucer and Flying Chair off market board or crafted, you can also buy the valentiones chairs on the mog station I like them all...I need a place to sit they are great to just kick back and relax. This also includes the Bomb Palanquin from the ARR Kobold beast tribe (I'll say the magicked bed also) #3 the Witch's broom from the Halloween event several years ago, it is now on the mog station, this was my favorite mount until shb i just like the minimalism of it and the creepily soothing chiming as you move on it. #2 Scree ... yeah #1 The Magicked Carpet, actually a gift from a friend, but it's a mog station item. I love the designs on this mount, MEONI!!! IT HAS NAMAZU EMBROIDERED ON IT! It upsets me this isn't a 2 seated mount, but even still, I love it so much and this is set to my default mount hotkey next to my shoe for transporting other players.

My fave is the phoenix you get from gathering all of the SB birds! It's absolutely GORGEOUS and so amazing to fly on (though it is a bit big and can cause some issues in cramped areas ^^; ) Close runner ups are the Fenrir motorbike (loved VII AC ever since I was a kid and having it in game is amazing), the Regalia from XV (4 person mount and I love XV to bits), the Yol from MSQ (another big birb that's fun to fly on), and the Bismark birb (more out of spite than anything, since it took me 50+ runs to get it xP )

Amazing mount collection! Still need that Rathlos myself, but that be in my Top 10 too!

Bismark birdy was the first Ex mount I ever got legit (it was late in the expansion, but it was my first foray into using PF to do content, and my first Ex I did while it was still that expansion - I joined the game the patch before NIN dropped, leveled as CNJ->WHM, and remember fondly Fate grinding with 7x NINs those last few levels since they were desperate for healers, lol) The Bismark bird also has such great "easy listening/riding" music. I've honestly fallen asleep to that music before, it's just so peaceful and calm. Susano doggo was my first MORE legit Ex, since I did it earlier in the expansion. I've also always loved the seriousness and weight of his theme/song. Titania drago is my first "at current" mount. Took 53 clears (considering my totem count), but I finally got it. I also had a spread of King's weapons and it's the first time in this game I've ever been BiS. Such an amazing feeling that was utterly shattered when 5.1 hit, but I didn't care! It was so glorious. And I love it and the Innocence one I got a bit later (the Fey I ride on my SCH and the Innocence one on my WHM and PLD since it just fits.) ...even if I have to turn off the music to ride the Titania one because ...well, yeah. XD I love the look of it, but the music...can you have music related PTSD..? XD "Splish, splash, a crimson flower~!!" (Real talk, when I finally got the mount, it was late. I was so excited. But I had also run the Trial SO MUCH that the song was stuck in my head. I had to find the Greatwood music on KZfaq, put it on loop, and fall asleep to that. "La HEE!" was somehow more relaxing. If you're gonna fight a mind virus, the best ammo is ANOTHER mind virus!) To this day I still like the Unicorn for my WHM/SCH (healers) when riding on the ground in ground zones. It was my first ever non-Choco mount. The Dragos have a nice walking animation too, so I ride them as well, but sometimes I feel like klicky-klack horse riding. And it's lighter, daintier feel just seems right somehow for a back row healing wizard who wants something fast to quickly move about the battlefield and restore life and vigor to those in need, not be encumbered by heavy armor. CONVERSELY... ...I WISH I could have gotten the Garo mount you did, but I just couldn't get the 60 wins, no matter how hard I tried. I DID get the silver one, though, which I love as a PLD ground mount. The heavier hoof beets as compared to the Unicorn/ARR pony models just FEELS wonderfully weighty, and perfect for a Tank in my mind. I wish I had the one you did for GNB, as it feels more fitting, but it's all three (the gold one as well) are lovely mounts and I love the aesthetic and the hoofbeat sounds on the ground. Even if I DID wish the silver one didn't have that weird bayonet horn on the front sometimes and I'm not QUITE as much a fan of the wings as you are. The contrast between the Unicorn for my healers and the Garo one for my tanks feels like a picture I once saw from the Wheel of Time where the Aes Sedi (wizard women) Moraine was on a smaller-ish horse while her sworn man (magic bond) Lan atop his great warhorse. Something about the dynamic just FEELS right to me. I also play Lala and love my PLD Lion mount. I only have the first one, but ground for it at the end of HW doing all tank PF runs with other people on Garuda. I love that it's Lala sized, and it's just adorable and fierce at the same time, a difficult combination to pull off. It also has kind of a unique animation. For SMN, I loved the Arhiman mount, and I also like the Phoenix I finally got. Seems appropriately SMN themed. I like the Ifrit pony and the Ravana birdy for my RDM, since...you know...RED! Also, I've always loved Ravana's theme. A freakin' Viking skald war ballad! I wasn't expecting THAT when I went into that fight! I also like the gold winged Lanier (forget which it comes from, Goddess, maybe?) for my PLD. And to close things out, I love the Falcon mini airship/motorcycle mount for my MCH and GNB. It just feels wonderfully steampunkish and fitting for the gunner DPS and Tank Jobs, and tends to fit my glams for those Jobs as well. Again, Lala-sized = best sized. It's also cool the flight propellers turn into water impellers when you dive in the thing. A nice touch. And, of course, I love my Choco mount. Baco is best Choco. Green, because he crosses mountains and forests! And the Giant Moogle...but that's for a peculiar reason - I got it as a multi-seat mount, and when SB hit and people couldn't get past the wall, someone flew me over. I sat on the mount at the bridge where the wall was and would let people join my party to sit on the mount to bypass the wall. It felt amazing giving people just that LITTLE BIT of extra zone to explore, even though I couldn't fly yet and was still stuck at Raubahn Ex or Pipin Savage (I forget which - I still have a T-shirt I got from the enterprising person that made a "I survived Rhauban Ex" T-shirt and sold them online, lol) "You're doing god's work!" People were just so happy, and that was such a weirdly emergent gameplay thing. . Anyway, so those would be my top...15 I guess. Not necessarily in order. (For example, I'd put the Falcon above Ifrit/Ravana/Arhiman and possibly some of the others...) EDIT: Thought of a few more. XD

My personal favourite mounts are: 10. Bennu (just love the design and it fits as my SMN mount well) 9. Whisper A-Go-Go (finally getting this mount after all the work I put in was so gratifying and the unique Roegadyn sitting animation makes it hilarious) 8. Aquamarine Carbuncle (the Carbuncles are just adorable in this game) 7. Goten (this is my favourite of the three Garo mounts and I'm glad I put the effort in to get these) 6. Markab (Ramuh Theme. Nothing else needs to be said) 5. Witch's Broom (coming from WoW and always being bitter that they wouldn't give us a proper broom mount, to receive this was amazing to me) 4. Griffin (just an awesome looking mount and is huge on a Roegadyn) 3. Regalia Type-G (it is just useful and practical with its four seats) 2. Fenrir (I love wolves and it was the first mount I ever worked towards) 1. Rathalos (for all the same reasons you listed)

I definitely have fascination with Magitek things too. Hearing that you could get your own Magitek mount is what got me into ARR years ago

I understand that Gwiber feeling, I was very hesitant to get into current hard content and my friend convinced me to try Innocence, we got into a practice group with very nice people, we cleared it practically first try (one wipe) and the mount dropped, and pretty much 5/6 pubs went "well I was just here to help, enjoy :)" and my friend also didn't want to get it, so long story short I got that Gwiber first try :D

The Direwolf beast tribe mount will always be my favorite.

I don't quite have a list of ten, but the two mounts I use the most are the Ruby Gwiber and Rathalos. In the former case, I like the gwiber designs, and even farmed the heck out of Innocence EX for his gwiber. Later, I was grindng for totems from Ruby Weapon EX for the weapon, not knowing what would soon happen. I saw it drop once before and thought that I was lucky to even see a single drop. Then it dropped again. And I got the highest roll. Cue disbelief. I was just happy to see I wasn't mistaken the next day when I saw it was still reality. I wanted the mount since the color scheme is more my tastes and the theme is amazing, but I didn't even know I would get it so abruptly. It was on my 7th clear of Ruby Weapon EX did I get it. As for Rathalos, I enjoy Monster Hunter World a lot and when I started playing FFXIV, I knew I would farm the heck out of Rathalos when I could. As soon as I got to level 70 (I joined not too long after Shadowbringers released, BTW), I did the quests I needed to for the start of the farming. In order to not overload myself, I farmed when I could instead of dedicating an entire day to it. I even used a week I had off from school to farm. I only saw the drop once, but I got 50 scales in the end. I was so ecstatic to have my Rathalos that I ended up riding on him during my travels in the First. I have even given him the nickname of "Ratha", in reference to Monster Hunter Stories. Between the two, it's a close call which is favorite, but Ratha wins out in the end.

Honestly my favorite mount is probably the White Magitek Avenger. It’s a white robotic gorilla with a jet pack that carries you while flying like Superman. Got it by winning Hidden Gorge 100 times. Hardly see anyone on it. I’m also partial to the Construct VII mount. You pilot it like a Gundam inside the thing and the head closes while you fly. It wields a giant axe too. You get it from 100 Frontline wins on the Onsal Hakair map.

I got the shark mount by watching your video on it so thank you for that. The ones that didn't just weren't lucky, not your fault at all really.

I haven't tried for Shark mount yet but I do plan to use your guide because it is very detailed and step by step. I like that and obviously it's still a game of chance so it shouldn't fall on you if someone doesn't get it.

About them Magitech walkers, the earlier ones in the MSQ roulette and such were the realisation of the FF6 boxart. While the Magitech Reaper is the realisation of the actual model that showed up in FF6 in-game.

Rathalos extrem is doable in duo in desynch and it's very epic! I've done it as Paladin (ilvl 469 by the time) and my friend was dancer and oh god it was so good!

I got the mount at 9:08 on literally my first run of the dungeon ever. Didn’t even realize how rare it was until months later when one of my old FC friends complained about not being able to get it. I swear to god that was the moment I used up every ounce of my luck in this game, and I haven’t won a roll on a mount/minion first or even second try since lol

i think my #1 mount has to either be the chair from the saucer, or the a12s mount ! the chair i was so excited to see because the second i saw it in gubal hard i said "they're going to make that a mount", and what do you know ! as for the a12s, i mean just look at it. it sprouts wings. i'm hoping myabe one day they make a combined 2 seat mount of the chairs we got from valentiones a while back, maybe they'll deliver.

I started doing deep dungeons with people in a dedicated linkshell for the sake of farming level 80 relic steps and I got lucky to receive the black pegasus during my third attempt at getting to floor 200. Previously I had always been intimidated by the idea of doing floors 101+, but the people who helped me were amazingly helpful and kind

9:21 it's lvl70 ^^ imo *we need the Hexadrone as Mount* as well as the Pod! but my Favorite is the Regalia, because when my PS4 died I couldn't play GTA, so the only Car I had access to was the Regalia.

I want the ruby and rathalos. I’m new just got to heavensward. But I play solo. Only got one friend in game. But it does sound nice having a group of friends willing to grind out and learn mechanics and help people learn. Especially since I main a white mage. Also Im on Gilga server. But my favorites are dragons but my current fav I own is gryphon.

I would love to see a bloodborne crossover with a 4 player ex trial, perhaps against cleric beast and it could be a mount. But since they are currectly doing, Nier I would really like to see a 4 man nier themed EX trial. Instead of just a trilogy of 1 and done, alliance raids like stormblood's tactics content.

My all time favorite mount? I'd have to say the Regalia from the crossover event with FFXV last year. That was what really got me back into XIV after having lost a fair bit of interest in the game.

I am not a fan of Monster Hunter but I agree. Rathy was so fun to get and is my second favourite..... my number 1 favorite is my plain but faithful Chocobo. It's adorable and since it is more than a mount, is my companion, it holds a special place on top.

Not sure if you know this, but your #6, the Magitek Predator, is from FF6 as well. When you fight Magitek Armor as an enemy they look like that (in FF6). The Original Magitek armor is just from the art. The amount of nods to FF6 in this game is great (I'm a relatively new player and a long time fan of ff6)

As a lvl 57 Sch/Smn approaching HW I have only three mounts. Company chocobo, magitek reaper, and griffin. I tried FF14 years ago before coming back recently and musta bought the collector HW then.

10 favorite mounts, I barely have 10 in total So I'll go top 5: 5) the Regalia- it's a nice looking car, and the extra seats definitely help 4) Midgardsormr- I like dragons, and I like this dragon in particular due to story reasons 3 & 2) the Rose/Sophic lanners- it's a tie, cool birds with epic music for the fly 1) Crewi, a.k.a my company Chocobo- he's my chocobo and I love him to bits

Your story about the Magitek Predator made me realise how lucky I must have gotten...I just came back to XIV after a 5 year break...first time I did Ala Migho for the story it dropped and I won the roll (I actually thought it's probably a 100% drop at the time)🤣😅 A few weeks later it was available from the moogle event...and I never got Ala Migho as a dungeon since then. Lucky me I guess 😁

The Magitek Predator is another version of FF6 magitek armor. You see and fight two very early on in the game.

The Korpokkur Kolossus mount is one of my favorites in the game. I love using it and people being like, "How cute! How do you get it?" And seriously, keep plugging the Fashion Report Fridays in your videos. I watch them every week to help me get the MGP I need :D

Ah, the Magitek Predator mount... I still, TO THIS DAY, have only seen it drop one single time. The only reason I have it now, is thanks to it being included in one of the last Irregular Tomestone events. Edit to comment on Ruby Gwiber & Rath: Ruby Weapon EX... "every 10 clears" haha I wish... Like 90% of all my trial mounts, I'm just going to have to get 99 totems and let them clog my inventory until I can buy the thing from a vendor u_u And Rathalos. I was doing it when it was current but even unsynced now, that fight is absolutely brutal if you have any game connection delay at all. I still don't have that mount, and I'm not sure I ever will, because the condition to be able to clear it - lack of ping - is completely out of my control =/
