I bought a 2003 Barchetta in yellow about six months ago. I paid 6800 Euro for a car with 42,000 miles on the odometer. I could have afforded a different sports car if I wished to do so but what really sold me on the Barchetta is the styling. I desired a car that would be good for top down Sunday drives in Spain's La Safor mountains where I live. My Barchetta has proven a good choice for this purpose. It's has a reputation for being inexpensive to own and operate, is an eye catcher with nimble handling and it does what I ask it to do. I'm satisfied with my purchase. The fact that they are somewhat rare and hold their value well is just an additional bonus.

Nice video, thanks. I fully understand your enthusiasm. I bought a red 1997 barchetta 5 years ago and enjoy it very much. Fun to drive, quite rare here in Denmark and very reliable. I had a new variable valve timing device installed shortly after I got it and that totally changed the engine performance. I also installed seat heating. Difficult to do but worthwhile. Took it to Northern Italy and drove around with my wife for 2 weeks with the top down. It attached quite a lot of attention by the lokal Italians. There is a barchetta at the design department of the Turin Car Museum.
