A "brood patch" identifies a female from a male pigeon...learning something new every day!

As others have said this is not correct as both parents incubate the eggs with pigeons.Nice bit of old folklore though.

Hello from the US, just found this on you tube. We had a program like this in the 60's (showing my age here) but it went by the TV wayside in the 70's (what you call "anti's" were calling the programs at that time) liked the show, hope to see more. then)

Sorry buddy your wrong about the brood patch🙈 I race pigeons and that patch comes when the bird is in good condition,cock or hen. The less down feathers on the breast the better the condition 👍

Is the injection of zinc from the powder or compressed zinc a toxic risk? Zinc is a needed metal in the human diet but in very low doses.

Has any of you bullet testing been done past 500m .... mono bullets are a disaster past about there ...I shot a few hundred to thousand goats a year and anyone I take with copper bullets dumps them after one trip with me with my just plan copper lead bullets ...this bullet blow up thing being a problem is a not the problem people like to make out ...the soft bullet I use definitely blow up but the animal is definitely dead ...next the people say is oh but it won't get Penetration ...well the same bullet will go right through 8mm steel Plat so unless you have animals with armor you good to go ....
