#elkhunting and long range target shooting just got a whole lot better. Will be mounting the #vortexrazorhdgen3 but rings I had on hand were just too high so waiting for some now low precision matched rings from @vortex.canada while we break in the barrel with a viper pst Gen 2. Pretty excited to get behind this #7prc from @fierce_firearms #fiercerage #7prc #vortexcanada #vortexnation

Love the Razors but man are they heavy! I recently started using Leica more but the RAZOR LHT would probably be a good fit. The glass is what you’d expect from a razor

If you went with a Leupold you would have the best of both world light weight and gathers more light then either of the other 2 scopes! I am a gun collector and have all 3 and the Leupold for the price is best quality on the market without getting into a Nightforce which weight a whole lot more and are designed more for bench shooting

@@edwardabrams4972 i have 5 of the VX5HD scopes. 2x 3-15x44 (one duplex one windplex), 2x 2-10x42 (both duplex) and a 3-15x56mm firedot duplex. Good scopes but the LHTs and the Leica Amplus' i have both beat them for light transmission and clarity. The 56mm is the closest and is the only one i am not getting rid of directly. Leupold really just isnt what it used to be.

If you can’t get it to shoot with the set screw brake I would switch back to the radial. I’ve never seen a brake that would put stress in one spot on the end of a barrel before 🤦‍♂️

Is factory ammo for the 7 PRC hard to find? Do you handload your own ammo?

Hornady makes the 7prc 300prc ammo only have hunter and match for each round so far from what I’ve heard not sure if any other company has catched on yet.

Im on the fence between 300prc and 7prc. What make you buy a 7 prc?

@@RivaRider53 beyond 1000 yards the 7 PRC outperforms the 300. And I don’t like recoil.

Another great thing about the 7 is that you can put it into a regular long action chassis. The 300 requires a larger 3.850 CIP magazine which isn’t compatible with all chassis.

Just an opinion but I prefer my 6.5 PRC flatter trajectory even though the bullet is smaller it hits plenty hard

Also carbon fiber barrels heat up really fast I got the titanium instead

Have a 6.5 PRC, 7 PRC is flatter through all ranges

@@BrandonandStacyHunt that’s cool only 4000 dollars a rifle hey when groceries are difficult lol but pretty sure it’s a matter of physics that once you pass a certain diameter it affects trajectory but seriously to each there own it’s a very nice gun you have there

@@michaelandrews2987 I won’t get into it, never do. Nothing wrong with 6.5 PRC either. You can run the ballistics and see for yourself the difference. At 1000 yards the 7 has 18” less drop and close to 500 more ft lbs than they 6.5… and less wind drift of course too. Out of curiosity what your titanium barrel rifle run you?
