Yeah, the potential status can certainly help shed some light on who they might be! Although if they're immediately listed up for loan as sometimes seems to happen then unfortunately you can't actually see what their potential status is in that instance as that information about potential is replaced with the fact that they're available for loan.

No, the regen won't necessarily have the same strong foot. It's just the nationality and positioning that will definitely be the same.

Lord Of Ed That's what he explained. It may not be easy finding certain regens. One trick I used before was eliminating the obvious ones out. Such as players who play more positions than the guy I am looking for. That left me with about 3 options. Then I waited half a season and enquired about them. Since the regens you're looking for have really high potential, the clubs will want more money for the regen. So the clubs came back and said 300K, 400k, and the last one was 8M. It seemed fair enough to assume it was the one for 8M and I was correct.

Quite a few people have done a video like this, mate... There were a few last FIFA as well. I kept getting asked what regens were though, so I felt like this was a useful video to refer people back to whenever I talk about regens.

CW Player CW Player weak foot doesn't transfer to the regen. However i think it is that player because potential DOES transfer to the regen. Prieto's potential was an exciting prospect which means that he has a similar potential to Iniesta's

Same method as I showed here... So it can be a bit of a struggle locating regen keepers if they retire in their home country. Say with Neuer for example though; his regen should have the potential to be special, so it shouldn't be too tough to find him.

No. They're still in the game. When a player retires; check for them at the start of the next season and they'll be there. Either in the league where they retired, or as a free agent.

Yes. Any player that retires at the end of the first season will have their regen appear in the game at the start of the second season (etc.).

Depends... If they get loaned out to another club or transfer somewhere else then it may alter. So if you, or any other club, signs them before they're fully developed then that can change their potential.

Ronaldo is right footed though whilst his regen was left footed. Like I said in the video; the only things that will definitely be same are the nationality and player positioning.
