Even audio cassettes were selling so high just because of his phot on front part.. Everyone was noticing the music.. If it was by vidyasagar.. Even we friends used to communicate the film songs from him.. But like today there was no social media or KZfaq, hence the reach was limited only to music lovers.. Not to common layman as of now..

@@martinsam8787 ഞാൻ യോജിക്കുന്നില്ല.. കാരണം ആ സമയം ആകെ മലയാളത്തിൽ 2 -3 ചാനൽ മാത്രമേ ഉള്ളു.. റിയാലിറ്റി show ഒന്നും തന്നെ ഇല്ല... മാത്രമല്ല എന്റെ ബന്ധുവിനു അന്ന് കാസറ്റ്റ് കട ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.. ക്ലാസ് ഇല്ലാത്തപ്പോൾ ഞാനും അവിടെ ഇരിക്കും.. അതു കൊണ്ട് കൃത്യമായി അറിയാം ആളുകൾ വിദ്യാസഗറിന്റെ തല കണ്ടാൽ കാസറ്റ്റ് മേടിക്കും.. പുള്ളിടെ മ്യൂസിക് copyright കിട്ടാൻ അന്ന് റെക്കോർഡ് കമ്പനി കൾ വൻ അടിയായിരുന്നു.. മിക്കവാറും എല്ലാം sargam.. Johny sagariga കമ്പനികൾ ആയിരുന്നു ഇറക്കിയിരുന്നത്.. ഇപ്പോഴും ഓർമയുണ്ട് അന്ന് ഡ്രീംസ്‌ ഫിലിമിന്റെ കാസറ്റ്റ് സ്റ്റോക്ക് ഞാൻ കൂടെ പോയി എടുത്തത്.. ഒരാഴ്ച കൊണ്ട് തീർന്നു.. പിന്നെ ചെന്നപ്പോൾ സ്റ്റോക്ക് ഇല്ല... ശെരിക്കും vidyasagar അന്ന് മലയാളം അടക്കി വാനിരുന്ന്.. SP venkitesh ശേഷം vidyasagar മലയാളത്തിൽ ഒരു വൻ കൊടുകാറ്റു ആയിരുന്നു.. ആ കാലഘട്ടത്തിൽ ഇതു ആയി അടുത്ത് നിന്നവർക്ക് അറിയാം.. പല പൊളി സിമെമേടെ ഓഡിയോ casettes പോലും വിദ്യാസഗറിന്റെ music കാരണം ഒരുപാട് വിട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്.. പിന്നെ ദീപക് ദേവ്, m ജയചന്ദ്രൻ.. ഇവരൊക്കെ ഫീൽഡിൽ വന്ന സമയത്ത് മലയാളം ചാനൽ യുദ്ധം തുടങ്ങി കഴിഞ്ഞു.. Casettes sale ഒക്കെ mp3 വന്നതോടെ കുറഞ്ഞു.. റിയാലിറ്റി show കൂടി ആയതോടെ മിക്കവാറും ഇവരെയൊക്കെ ടീവിയിൽ കാണാം.. പിന്നെ അതു ഇന്റർനെറ്റ്‌ il ആയി.. അതു കൊണ്ട് ഇപ്പൊ ഉള്ളവർക്ക് അങ്ങനെ തോന്നും.. അല്ലാതെ ഇവരോന്നും vidyasagar കൊളുത്തി വിട്ട തീയുടെ അത്രയൊന്നും ആയിട്ടില്ല.. പിന്നെ vidyasagar വെറുതെ ചാനൽ ഇന്റർവ്യൂ.. റിയാലിറ്റി show അതിനൊന്നും അങ്ങനെ വരാറില്ല.. വളരെ rare ആണ് അന്നത്തെ സൺ‌ഡേ സപ്പ്ലിമെന്റിൽ വിദ്യാസഗറിന്റെ ഒരു പേജ് ഇന്റർവ്യൂ വരെ വന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്... വേറെ ഒരു music ഡയറക്ടർ അങ്ങനെ ശ്രദ്ധ ഇവിടെ കിട്ടിയിട്ടില്ല... Ouseppachan ഒരിക്കൽ പറഞ്ഞു.. ആ കുറെ കാലം മലയാളം സിനിമ സംഗീതം ശെരിക്കും vidyasagar എന്ന music ഡയറക്ടർ brand ചെയ്തു കഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു... ഇങ്ങനെ ഓർത്താൽ അന്ന് ഇതു പോലെ ഒത്തിരി കാര്യങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ട്..

I am early 2k kid Now a days shitty film directors only needs ANIRUTH , U1, ARR & GV PRAKASH to compose songs & the directors also believe that they are best music directors in the whole tamil film industry. And this is why VIDHYA SAGAR, SA RAJKUMAR, SIRPY, SRIKANTH DEVA & HARRIS JAYARAJ are not used. These composers need a strong comeback for tamil film industry But still I miss there songs 😭😭😭😭
