To me nd hrithik s character is so layered ,intense,vulnerable nd hrithik gives best performance in patriotic films ever in hindi films...anil kapoor is very good in both strict officer nd as an emotional brother nd his scenes with hrithik r the highlights both play off each other...deepika,karan grover,akshy oberoi are good...the villain had good screen presence nd did terrific job in pre climax but it is one note....overall fighter is terrific film with great performances

Deepika’s dialogue delivery throws me off. I listen to her speak in Fighter and it feels like Rani Padmavati is speaking. I was blinded by her beauty man. She acts the same way in every film. Ab ja kar samajh aaya. Her best performance was in Cocktail. Its all the same after that.

I am a vfx artist myself and I have worked in this movie as well as VFX artist. so thank you for the compliments on VFX. somehow I differ with you on the review of the movie, would be great if we could discuss that together here.. here's my review on the story/film: this movie had a lot of bollywood masala touch which wasnt needed, if it would have been more realistic like URI, with no love angles and unnecessary drama, it would have been better. And one of the saddest point of the movie was not using Deepika as much as she was hyped. She was introduced as awsm pilot as Hrithik and she shows her skills only once in the beginning and then she didnt get any action scenes for herself.. Deepika ko aur ache se dikha sakte the as a highly skilled pilot. Pulbama attack pe aur focus karke usi pe movie banti ya fir Great pilot like Abhinandanji ki story jaise kuch dikhate for Karan Singh's character then it could have been much better movie. Also the points like SUKHI being an Airforce pilot had no strength to block himself from the main villain fighting him towards the climax. And the point where the movie tries to show that every operation is carried by only one single super villain throughout the movie. 1 man alone taking charge of everything and being over powered and Hrithik fights him alone in the end, was way too bollywood masala we didnt needed.... aap kya kehte ho Shan bhai ?

Unpopular Opinion IMO it is an avergae movie. There was emotional disconnect for me. Uri and shershan were outstanding in emotional regard. Vfx wise and action was good. Many illogical scenes like you said, climax parachute scene and too much dialogues while fighting and landing scene of girl in hyderbad guided by hrithik. I didn't find Hrithik depressed as such in movie, was the opposite actually. He looked happy and confident at start. Some really good moments in movies. Overall average and one time watch.

VFX is done by DNEG, the same company did Interstellar RRR INCEPTION and so many. Aerial maneuvers are the same as top gun maverick.

Ok so after watching your review mai shaam ko movie dekhne gyi and the movie is fantastic I must say and sabki acting is good and yes no much romance and unnecessarily Hritik ko hero nahi dikhaya gya hai but villain ki bhi thodi backstory dikhayi hoti ki kyu itna hate hai uske mann me so better hota baaki overall movie is great dialogues bhi sahi hai . Watched this today in 4dx 3d and I must say, it was worth it. The aerial action sequences were absolutely terrific especially that "apni kursi ki peti khol dijiye sir" one. Don't know why that character of Zarina (double agent) was added. Rishabh Sawhney's performance was also top-notch though he could've been utilised more efficiently. Sad to say but the humor was pathetic. A decent watch for a patriotic day. 🇮🇳❤️

I have not seen Shan do a review of Special Ops, The Freelancer, or any Neeraj Pandey web series or movie, but he does review all the action movies made by Sid Anand. Neeraj Pandey is way ahead of Sid Anand in making espionage action thriller movies. Especially, dialogue writing in Neeraj Pandey's web series is way ahead. Probably Shan is hesitant to review the clear truth Neeraj shows in his content. Sid Anand would never replace IOP with Akhand Bharat.

Yes you are right. Songs are misplaced within story, Hrithik landed directly near villain which seemed unreal and last scene where lead actor and actress kissed in front of all the air force officers was completely out of logic. 3 drawbacks of this film. Otherwise very honest attempt and a very good movie

Indian mainstream cinema ko tvf se sikhna chiye ki subtle tarike se kese storytelling karte h tvf bhi commercial series banata h but unka storytelling over the top nhi lagta h bas yhi problem h Indian cinema aur tvf m dono commercial movie/series banate h swadesh aur panchayat dono ka genre same h but panchayat bhut better lagti h

VFX was genuinely very good,but still could have been better..actually the main problem with Fighter here was that while filming scenes with fighter jets they didn't used real time aircrafts with special filming cameras attached to them like Top Gun-Maverick.maybe IAF is not ready for that unlike their American counterpart...that's why Lord Mid-anand couldn't deliver a better output here like Tom Cruise..

Loved all the combat scenes, very well executed, experience in 4DX was awesome. The rest of the storytelling and sequences around it were picked up from other films like TOP Gun. Songs - Vande Mataram first perfectly, the rest were useless. It felt like the makers forced a story between brilliant action/combat sequences. I paid for the movie after your review, you have become sympathetic towards the Hindi cinema filmmakers. Even the merry Christmas movie review was very critical, it resembled Janejaan

The 3D ruined it for me. Most Indian cinema halls (PVR included) are poorly equipped for 3D cinema. Plus my seat was in the 4th row from the bottom and I had to crane my neck to watch it, which made the experience worse.
