Thank you for doing this video. I, too, became teary-eyed from your narration. 🥲 I have come across people who have assumed, "You relate to Godzilla because you're so mad you'd like to see civilization crumble." Sometimes I do get that mad, but, as you note, for me Godzilla represents something else. When I feel powerless and it seems there is no hope left, I remember Godzilla's resilience. More than his body, it's Godzilla's will that is indestructible. As you point out, no matter our size and physicality, that is something we all can have. 🥲🔥🦖 Godzilla's dorsal spikes are also iconic and distinctive. 😉 The very handsome Jiras is the only other daikaiju to have dorsal spikes with that shape. And I just love that night shot of the silhouette of Godzilla (Junior) with the light behind him. I can't blame the makers of _Final Wars_ for re-using that at the end of the title sequence. 😊

I love this video. This is just what I needed and one of the reasons why I love the big G. Honestly there’s more to Godzilla than just him destroying cities and fighting other monsters. I wish more people could understand that.

Fantastic vid, but if it wasn’t for Jia in the latest film, Godzilla would’ve been ShishKabob😂. Poor Kong wanted to die a honorable death but a filthy human prevented that, so Kong out of ❤ for Jia saved Gojira😂 and his career back in you guessed it 1962. What a huge $$$ maker that was for Toho Studios 🎉 Godzilla vs Kong = Mecha-G built in China fighting a Japanese Kaiju , did you notice how Big G did absolutely NOTHING to Mecha-G😂 based on real life events 😢 Please do a vid on KONG he deserves it, Est.1933
