The early years of UFC were way wayyy more crazy. The fights back then were not regulated on a decent level. I like it more now when the referees are more ready to stop the fight. Even Herb Dean has learned how to not be racist. He often let white fighters get more damage before stopping the fight if a black guy was winning and hurting their white opponent. He doesn't do that now... thankfully. Really absolute shitty of him to do that before though and I will not forget about it.

Their fight was so good that they took an exhausted and completely dead crowd (after watching Geathje & Chandler) and started to get them back into by the end a bit, they were in a real tough spot.

More significant strikes were thrown in Burgos/Quarantillo fight than in Geathje/Chandler; Vetorri/ Costa; Holloway/Rodriguez; Yan/Sandhagen; Sandhagen/Dilleshaw and in every other fight EVER that doesn't involve Max Holloway . It's unreal to me how so many people forgot about this fight...

That Burgos vs. Quarantillo fight would be fight of the night in every other event and blow the roof of if it was the opening fight of the main card. They came right after Chandler vs Gaethje and everyone was wasted after that lol no one paid attention to that fight.

While Gaethje Chandler was good only in 1st round imo, Burgoss fight was much better.

@@Algojo Yes. Quarantillo took a lot of damage too but he fought until the last second. Chandler realized he wasn't going win at the beginning of 2nd round and just start showboating to get the 50k bonus, which a lot of people bought as a "great fight" sadly.

Billy Q vs Burgos needed to be on here for sure. Good shout since they basically went 2.5 rounds with a dead crowd immediately coming after the Gaethje vs Chandler Fight of the year contender. It was a good fight and they managed to bring the crowd into the last half of rd 3 anyway. Good job to both of them.

Shane rolls with punches really well, you can see him eat a few bombs and roll with the punch so well, it barely hurts him and he snaps his head right back into focus immediately.

I've watched that fight live, and i've watched it many times after that, and the more i watch it the more i feel like it's gonna be a wrestling clinic from the Daghestani. He may even be able to pull off a Kimura or a head & arm choke.

Ferreira is a 4º degree black belt my man, No one controlled him on the ground like Dariush. Islam is a very good wrestler for sure but once on his back, I don't think he will get up safely

@@JulianO-eb1wp Man stop it , Benoit wasn't KO , he was still throwing shots at Dos santos. Just his equilibrium was messed up just like everyone when you are on the edge , but he wasn't out cold. Look Clay Guida last fight...I mean. Many other fight Kattar vs Holloway. And I can tell you , many others. I mean Benoit wasn't out coz the man took the 3r round.

Man this year was stacked, completely epic fights this year, everyone letting out the lockdown stress so Edit,. Pretty much since the UFC said the hell with everything and one and continued putting on fights, the fights have been insane. Every card. Joe Rogan has seen the best fight he's ever seen 100 times these past couple years
