Jane Doe grew up in Washington state with a loving family, never expecting that she’d be victimized by one of the largest trafficking schemes to date in today’s mainstream porn industry.
Twenty-one days after her 22nd birthday, she boarded a flight to San Diego that, unbeknownst to her, would change her life forever.
That day, she would become one of the hundreds of young women who had been exploited between 2015 and 2019 by GirlsDoPorn (GDP), a wildly popular “amateur” porn production company that garnered well over a billion views, ranking around the 20th-most popular channel on Pornhub, and reportedly generated an estimated $17 million dollars in revenue.
You may have heard about the infamous GDP case in the last couple of years, but you may not know what exactly happened, let alone the full account of one of the trafficked women.
In this exclusive interview, Jane Doe and her emotional support dog, Cozi, sit down with Podcast Host Garrett Jonsson and Fight the New Drug’s Editorial Director Keri to tell the story of how she was sex trafficked and assaulted by GDP porn producers, how her family has handled learning the truth about her experiences, and what it’s been like to pursue legal action against GDP as well as the world’s largest porn company, MindGeek.

It’s great that you found a girlfriend. But for those that were not born with an attractive face, porn is the second best option to relieve their sexual needs. As long as it doesn’t become an addiction, I can argue that it is very much needed in todays society.

Talk to them as openly and frankly as possible about sex. Jane Doe's #1 advice was to talk to somebody and report it to the police. If a person is comfortable talking about sex and their body, they will be more apt to tell someone if they have been hurt. Hopefully it helps them identify and avoid danger, too. I don't mean this to be preachy, but I'm offering unsolicited advice because this is the internet.

Please interview more Jane Doe victims! The world needs to hear their side of the story. I just searched for "Girlsdoporn" on KZfaq and was baffled at how little has been published/uploaded on this case. We need to talk more openly about pornography, sex trafficking, child pornography... Right now the only thing people know or see about the victims are the horrible porn videos that unfortunately still roam the internet. But this interview and your work in general has done an excellent job of showing victims in a completely different light, that of actual suffering human beings. If you're a Jane Doe victim or victim of any other form of sexual exploitation and you're reading this, my heart goes out to you.❤ You are brave and strong and I wish only good things to happen to you for the rest of your life. 🙂

I'm a woman but I still watched porn as I have a bit of a high sex drive, but I also don't sleep around if I'm not in a serious monogamous relationship. So, my "outlet" was always porn. However, although I've never heard of this heartbreaking story before, I have gone down rabbit holes of human trafficking in the past and a lot of porn being linked to it, even if the girls look and sound like it's totally consensual. I've known about deep web non consensual stuff (never seen it, don't want to, but have known about it through documentaries, etc). I feel stupid that I never even fathomed this happening on regular, very well known, non deep web sites. But once I found out about how many girls are trafficked and made to act like they're liking it made me so disgusted. I just can't watch porn anymore at all and enjoy it like I used to. Even the girls who do it willingly don't always like it as much as they say they do. But it's become more than that... People are relying way too much on porn to the point it's ruining their intimate relationships with real people. Kids are now "learning" sex ed from porn and it's completely ruining them and their relationship with sex. It's a really toxic and harmful industry to both the creators and the users, regardless of how some women want to claim it's "empowering." It's far from empowering and it's hurting not only them, but most of the viewers as well.

I just donated. I am deeply saddened by the loss all these beautiful young women have experienced. It is impossible to calculate the true cost. There are inevitably more that were unable to come forward. Keep bringing this into the light. We will be praying for your continued healing.

This is perhaps one of the hardest dichotomies in which you'll have to fight to accept until you can embrace, but dear courageous and championing young woman, fight on because you now have the kind of platform that will enable you to profoundly impact and powerfully reach into the lives of those who need to hear such a story (particularly men) in ways and on a scale that could never have been possible only for your story. I am just another one of those and I'm grateful for happening across it. Thank you for sharing your story.

I know that her reason for doing this is to help potential victims. My heart broke for this incredible woman. Of course she did what ever the hell she had to do to get out of that room. I love that you expressed that her avoidance is NOT shameful. Healing is not linear.

Thank you Jane Doe for your honesty and courage. My awsome, lovely wife is a survivor of incest and physical assault on a heartbreaking level. She is an amazing women and mother. We have 7 kids together. Her healing has come through our love, Jesus and unconditional love of our family. Don;t you ever think that your beauty is diminished or that you are less. Your suffering, when used to free others, is a gift to us all. God Bless you! I will pray you will find the man that sees you, not the sins of other put upon you.

I was a victim as a young child. No justification just an explanation of what happened with me. I became addicted to porn shortly afterwards and had difficulty with appropriate boundaries. I became an abuser in my adulthood and ended up in prison where I learned a lot about addiction and how it affects your desires. I hope that they take more action to remove all pornography due to its harmful influence. I think we need more advocates against sites like these especially.

PMO is evil . I was addicted for too long ,i still am I think . This is why I started nofap . This is one of the reasons why I started nofap because of stories like this . I don't think it's good to PMO to a scene where something like this might be going on . 458 days no PMO.

It's already breaking my heart to hear her shaky voice which represents such deep sadness, regret and feeling of being broken inside forever for the experience. But, I'd say that we're all bridges to solutions which would make this world a better place and just like that you too are a bridge for all of us to get to the solution to free ourselves from this illusive source of fake shit.

To quote Joni Mitchell song “love is touching souls, surely you (will) touch mine in this life from time to time…” You are a gift to the world and will help so many people in this world. Not your choosing to having lived the horror, but your choosing to be a healer because of and despite what happened to you. Sending much love with deepest respect and admiration!!❤

This is amazing perspective. I’ve never watched porn, but it never crossed my mind that the things on pornhub and other sites might be human trafficking or without someone’s consent. Spreading the word about this is incredibly important. So many people, including myself, are naive, uninformed and uneducated.
